29640Position SummaryLincoln Electric is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the Manufacturing Infrastructure Operations team. This team is responsible for shop floor IT systems and site support, with an initial focus on Cleveland and Mentor and a global scope over time.
This role will manage service-related initiatives, improve execution discipline, and help transition work from reactive support to planned delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of initiatives supporting:
- Shop floor systems including cross functional programs (e.g. networks, server, devices, security, infrastructure)
- Site IT support and ServiceDesk improvements
- Convert recurring operational issues into defined projects with clear scope and outcomes
- Prioritize work based on production impact, risk, and business needs
- Apply Lincoln standard PMO processes:
- Implement program governance and controls
- Intake, planning, execution, and closure
- Tracking of scope, schedule, risks, and dependencies
- Partner with service teams to:
- Review incident trends
- Identify root causes
- Deliver follow-up initiatives to reduce repeat issues
- Coordinate across multiple teams including:
- Shop floor IT
- Network and infrastructure
- Cybersecurity
- Desktop support
- Work with manufacturing and plant teams to align IT activities with operational needs and schedules
- Provide regular status updates, including risks, issues, and outcomes
- Implement continuous improvement in enhancing delivery and operations in manufacturing IT

- Effective coordination across teams supporting shop floor IT
- Ability to travel (25%) to other Lincoln facilities, subsidiaries in NA and globally as needed
QualificationsRequired:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related
- 8+ years of experience in IT project or program management
- Experience working in service operations or ITSM environments
- Experience supporting manufacturing or shop floor systems
Skills:
- Knowledge of incident, problem, and change management practices
- Ability to manage work across multiple teams
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in operational, time-sensitive environments
Preferred:
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP)
- Experience with plant systems and IT service operations
- Experience supporting multi-site or global environments
