Responsibilities / Position overviewThe Senior Project Manager is accountable for planning, executing, and closing projects efficiently and successfully by ensuring that each project adheres to the organization's process for all required deliverables. They are expected to take ownership of and stay informed about the status of each project, from initiation through deployment, to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of client requirements. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing intricate projects, accounts, and clients across a wide variety of projects concurrently.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:- Lead project planning and execution.
- Ensure consistent on-time and on-budget delivery of projects, being accountable for the development and upkeep of project plans and timelines
- Develop RACI matrix, ensure clarity on roles and responsibilities throughout project lifecycle, and ensure team members working on projects are operating in their assigned role.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation, routing and tracking deliverables through Kantata.
- Conduct internal kick-off and debrief meetings in collaboration with the client team
- Attend client project briefing and kick-off meetings to ensure timeline and scope/budget expectations are discussed and agreed upon
- Lead internal status calls and meetings, maintaining internal status reports and daily hot sheets.
- Resolve issues efficiently, contributing to problem resolution while maintaining
- Collaborate with the client team on external client status reports and meeting notes
- Support new business opportunities, proposals, and RFPs in the development of project plans, timelines, and status updates
- Ensure all projects remain compliant with data protection legislation, including GDPR requirements (applicable for the UK team)
- Ensure all suppliers/contractors are engaged in accordance with the company's policies and procedures and track supplier spend against budget
- If applicable, may include line management of a project manager(s) through providing guidance to ensure project manager is effectively achieving goals and executing on all responsibilities
QualificationsRequired Education/Skills/Experience:- Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, showcasing a high level of proficiency in job responsibilities.
- PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent project management qualification preferred
- Demonstrate 3-5 years of project coordination, project management, or account management within healthcare/pharma agencies
- Ability to lead and manage intricate and large projects, including assignments that may span across brands and more than one client team
- Exhibit a robust understanding of project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience in successfully managing projects through the full life cycle according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
- Fluent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT
