As a Senior Project Manager - Land Development, you will lead high-impact projects across Ontario, overseeing the full project lifecycle while building trusted client relationships, guiding multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the strategic growth of WSP.

This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse land development initiatives-greenfield, infill, and beyond-while advancing your career within a collaborative, high-performance environment. Home offices are available in Ottawa, Kingston, Cornwall with hybrid work flexibility.

Your Impact
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multidisciplinary land development and municipal engineering projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors
  • Act as the primary client liaison, building strong, long-term relationships and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction
  • Oversee project financial performance, including budgets, schedules, resources, and risk management
  • Drive business development efforts through proposals, client engagement, and strategic growth initiatives
  • Guide teams through municipal and agency approvals processes, leveraging WSP's established stakeholder relationships
  • Mentor and develop project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence
  • Uphold quality, safety, and performance standards while delivering sustainable, community-focused solutions

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • 10+ years of experience in land development or municipal engineering, including 2+ years in a project management role
  • Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex infrastructure projects
  • Deep understanding of Ontario's land development and municipal approvals processes
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a client-focused mindset
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario, or eligibility to obtain
  • PMP certification considered a strong asset
  • Proficiency with project management tools and financial tracking systems
  • Valid Ontario driver's license preferred

Compensation

Compensation:
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $122,900 - $162,800
MB & ON: $112,100 - $154,400
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $111,000 - $147,400
