Responsibilities

  • Drive project and customer-based Steering Committees

  • Coordinate with Services leadership for optimal team staffing
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential project issues and risks

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll own the successful delivery of complex software implementations, guiding clients from strategy through deployment while creating confidence every step of the way.

You'll join a team that partners closely with clients, builds trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, and delivers solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes. Your ability to combine project leadership, customer focus, and problem-solving will directly influence client success and strengthen long-term partnerships.

In this role, you'll lead enterprise implementation programs, shape project strategy, influence key decisions, and drive measurable outcomes for clients. You'll create clarity in complex environments, build momentum across teams, and own successful delivery from project kickoff through completion. Your leadership will help clients realize value faster while contributing to the future of commerce through innovative payment and financial technology solutions.

What you'll own

  • Lead complex software implementation projects from discovery through deployment, driving successful outcomes that align with client goals, timelines, and budgets.


  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and executive sponsors, creating strong partnerships that drive long-term success and adoption.


  • Establish governance frameworks, including steering committees and project reviews, that provide transparency, alignment, and informed decision-making.


  • Drive project execution by managing scope, timelines, risks, resources, and budgets while maintaining accountability for overall project performance.


  • Shape project strategies and delivery plans that accelerate implementation success and maximize value for clients.


  • Identify and resolve risks, issues, and potential escalations early, protecting project objectives and strengthening the client experience.


  • Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high-quality delivery across every phase of the project lifecycle.


  • Influence continuous improvement by championing best practices, effective change management, and scalable delivery methodologies that enhance client outcomes.


  • Ability to travel 10-25% - majority is North American but could include international travel.


What you'll bring

  • 8+ years of experience leading enterprise software implementation projects within professional services, consulting, systems integration, or enterprise software environments.


  • Proven success delivering complex cloud, software-as-a-service (SaaS), and on-premises technology implementations from project initiation through completion.


  • Strong project management expertise, including scope management, risk mitigation, budgeting, governance, resource planning, and change management.


  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


  • Experience building trusted relationships with clients and senior leaders while leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.


  • Strong analytical, facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive projects to successful outcomes.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.


It's a bonus if you have

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a comparable project management credential.


  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other relevant master's degree.


  • Experience leading implementations within Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay, or financial technology environments.


  • Experience managing software-as-a-service (SaaS) migrations from on-premises solutions.


  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning and resource management tools such as CA Clarity, Mavenlink, Project Online, or similar platforms.


  • Experience with system integration, implementation, and conversion projects in complex enterprise environments.


  • Experience working in payments, financial services, or related industries.
