Job Summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Gas Linear Transmission Pipelineto join its collaborative nationwide generation and transmission team This individual will serve a key function in leading and supporting design, permitting and client management/development efforts for a variety of oil and gas projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to partner cross-functionally with top industry leadership on a diverse array of premier projects.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare pipeline alignment sheets, plan-and-profile drawings, and more.
  • Conduct hydraulic modeling and transient surge evaluations to support the design and operation of liquid and natural gas pipeline systems.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and specify piping materials, valves, fittings, and specialized equipment based on project requirements.
  • Engineer pipeline facilities and appurtenances, including pig launchers, pig receivers, valve stations, and pressure relief equipment.
  • Develop technical specifications and construction documentation supporting pipeline installation, welding, trenching, and restoration activities.
  • Verify that design deliverables meet applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, and project-specific criteria.
  • Collaborate closely with survey, geotechnical, environmental, and land services teams to advance multidisciplinary project efforts.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • 10+ years of successful, local and related pipeline engineering projects
  • Professional Engineering license;
  • Strong client development and client management abilities;
  • Proficiency of AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred;
  • Active participation in professional organizations;
  • Experience in technical and proposal writing. Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

  • Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment; and
  • Possess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver's license in good standing.
