Join our team as an Energy Engineer III and help clients identify, measure, and implement energy-saving opportunities across a wide range of facilities. In this role, you will support energy conservation initiatives, complete engineering analysis, calculate energy savings, and contribute to utility-driven programs.
This is a remote role based in British Columbia, with a preference for presence in the lower mainland. Travel is expected to average approximately 20% annually, with most travel focused locally, though occasional Canada-wide travel may be required.

Conduct energy audits, assessments, and engineering studies across commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities, with a stronger focus on industrial environments.
Identify energy conservation measures and calculate savings using engineering principles, including thermodynamics, mechanics, fan laws, and energy-use analysis.
Support Measurement & Verification activities, including data collection, analysis of energy consumption data, and reporting energy and demand savings.
Prepare clear technical reports and recommendations that explain energy-saving opportunities and expected impact.
Support site visits for audits, studies, coaching, and data logger installation or removal, working alongside qualified trades where required.
Conduct QA/QC reviews of engineering deliverables.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Process).
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation.
5+ years of experience in energy management, energy engineering, or a related field.
Hands-on experience conducting energy audits, engineering studies, or energy conservation projects.
Experience working with a variety of facility types, ideally including industrial sites.
Ability to manage work independently with minimal supervisionmove quickly, and contribute with limited ramp-up time.
Ability to travel nationwide (20%)
Preferred qualifications...
Measurement & Verification certification, such as CMVP or equivalent.
Experience with energy data logging, sub-metering, interval data, or metering equipment.
Experience supporting utility-driven demand-side management (DSM) or energy conservation programs.
Experience in a consulting, energy services, utility, or similar energy conservation environment.
Valid driver’s license.
$104,000 - $110,000
Canadian Commercial Driving Requirements
