Full Job Description
Position Location: This role supports our Cape Canaveral, Florida branch location, which serves customers throughout the greater Cape Canaveral, Florida area.

The Project Manager position requires the coordination and delivery of multiple, simultaneous projects considered small to medium in complexity with financial impact between $3M and $5M. The Project Manager has fiscal responsibility for all project facets, including project billing, job cost reporting, and overall customer satisfaction.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will:
  • Facilitate the execution of project/program solution plan for clearly defined sub-projects or sub-programs.
  • Be responsible for delivery of results for the respective process steps.
  • Guide technical or administrative staff
  • Act as a functional process resource on projects or programs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement plan.
  • Perform active role in maintaining functionally focused client relationships.
  • Be responsible for several projects of varying size.
  • Review project specifications, drawings and project-specific documents to establish project intent.
  • Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinates needs with the project team. Identify time-sensitive installation needs.
  • Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects.
  • Review plans and specifications and participate in project cost reviews.
  • Assist Operations Manager in the solicitation and contracting of subcontractors.
  • Conduct an orientation for project technicians and provide project documentation, including scope of work, drawings, applicable specifications, application-engineered drawings, project contacts, etc.
  • Track resources and project progress.
  • Document project events that impact the schedule, scope of work, and project efficiency.
  • Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities.
  • Coordinate and pursue project-specific billing; coordinate with Accounting team and Operations Manager.
  • Schedule project-specific commissioning resources and provide commissioning documentation.
  • Expedite the return of project-specific mark-ups for as-built development.
  • Complete project-specific close-out documentation.
  • Effectively manage and coordinate subcontractors to meet scope, scheduling, and financial requirements.
  • Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures; report unsafe conditions and actions.

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED with related industry experience
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate or Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree
  • 5 + years of technical experience in the HVAC controls, fire and life safety, OR security access/CCTV industry
  • Technical experience in the commercial fire and life safety industry
  • Knowledgeable of local and national (NFPA) fire alarm codes and regulation
  • NICET Level II or higher certification in Fire Alarm Systems preferred

The pay range for this position is $83,966 - $143,942 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
