Key Accountabilities- Manage a portfolio of electric capital projects, ensuring successful delivery against scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in Primavera P6, including project requirements, milestones, resource planning, and progress tracking.
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance while ensuring compliance with financial governance policies and procedures.
- Drive compliance with regulatory requirements and mandatory performance targets.
- Lead project teams and foster collaboration across internal and external stakeholders to support effective project execution.
- Facilitate project and stakeholder meetings, proactively resolving risks, issues, and barriers to delivery.
- Prepare and communicate project status updates, reports, and performance metrics to key stakeholders.
- Track and monitor project performance against established KPIs, implementing corrective actions as needed to achieve project objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes, driving efficiency, consistency, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate project information and expected completion dates within company systems, including STORMS.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks related to permitting, materials, logistics, resources, contracts, and costs.
- Provide leadership and oversight to cross-functional teams, contractors, and business partners to achieve annual capital investment goals.
- Support broader business initiatives and collaborate with interfacing teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Utility Operations, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum of five years of experience in project management, program management, scheduling, operations, engineering, construction, finance, accounting, data analysis, cost analysis, or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, take ownership of outcomes, and work independently with a high degree of integrity and accountability.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to effectively navigate complex project challenges.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve shared business objectives.
- Experience in electric utility operations, infrastructure, construction, or capital project delivery.
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of project management tools such as Primavera P6 and work management systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and financial governance processes within a utility or infrastructure environment.
