  • Act as an advocate for clients throughout the engagement process.
  • Train client staff for effective Dayforce usage post-implementation.

Full Job Description

Your Opportunity

BDO Digital is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Dayforce practice, with the ability to work from anywhere in Canada. The individual will own the following responsibilities:

  • Provide project management leadership for full implementation, assessment and optimization engagements

  • Ensure that BDO project governance framework is applied to projects and that governance documentation is maintained, published and stored according to BDO Quality Audit standards

  • Ensure that the BDO Project Team follows BDO Implementation Methodology and is producing deliverables to standards and on schedule

  • Review Key Deliverables to assure scope and budget remain aligned as well as the contractual terms and scope of assigned projects

  • Provide input to BDO PMO for ongoing refinement of BDO Project Governance, Implementation Methodology, contracts and templates; mentors colleagues and provides guidance and support

  • Act as a client advocate throughout engagements and participates in training of client staff to perform day-to-day activities in support of Dayforce implementations

Your experience and education

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of HCM project experience. Ceridian Dayforce experience preferred, but experience with a similar HCM solution is required (Workday, SAP, Oracle, UKG, ADP).

  • Comprehensive project management experience including the management of budget, risks, resources, scope, issues, changes and quality 

  • Experience with MS Project

  • PMP designation preferred but not required

  • Coaching and/or mentoring experience

  • Exceptional presentation skills for internal/external purposes

  • Ability to listen and effectively communicate orally and in writing with clients and colleagues
