This role owns project scope, schedule, financial performance, quality, and client relationships while serving as a key escalation point between field operations and executive leadership.

Senior Project Managers at JSET do more than manage projects-they lead teams, strengthen field execution, manage risk, and represent JSET's standards with clients, general contractors, and internal stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules with critical path awareness and labor forecasting
  • Manage budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and overall financial performance
  • Lead contract review, buyout strategy, and subcontractor/vendor coordination
  • Oversee RFIs, submittals, change management, time & material (T&M) tracking, and change orders
Field Execution & Quality
  • Partner with field leadership to align manpower planning, installation sequencing, and work plans
  • Support commissioning readiness, punch list closure, and turnover documentation
  • Verify installation quality, safety compliance, and documentation standards
  • Identify and mitigate project risks early to protect schedule, cost, and scope
  • Drive accountability and consistency across multiple active job sites
Leadership & Team Development
  • Provide direct leadership, coaching, and mentorship to Project Managers, APMs, and Engineers
  • Conduct one-on-ones, performance reviews, and development planning
  • Serve as an escalation point for project and field challenges
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Safety, HR, Recruiting, and Logistics
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, and commissioning teams
  • Lead coordination meetings and provide clear, professional communication
  • Protect JSET's contractual and financial interests while maintaining strong partnerships
Qualifications & Experience
Required
  • 7+ years of experience in electrical, controls, or mechanical construction project management
  • Experience delivering complex or mission-critical construction projects (data center strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, contract management, and change management
  • Proven success managing project financials, labor forecasting, and cost control
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and teams
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, industrial construction environments with regional travel

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred
  • Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), or controls
  • Data center or critical infrastructure construction experience
  • Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management platforms
  • Experience mentoring or leading Project Managers and Engineers
What We're Looking For
  • A steady, professional leader who communicates clearly and directly
  • Someone who holds high standards for safety, quality, and accountability
  • A proactive problem solver who anticipates risk rather than reacts to it
  • A mentor who invests in developing people and strengthening teams
  • A strong representative of JSET's culture on job sites and with clients
Why Join JSET
  • Competitive compensation and performance-based incentives
  • Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) with match
  • Opportunity to lead high-profile data center and mission-critical projects
  • A company that values leadership, structure, and long-term career growth
