This Opportunity

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Construction Delivery for our Atlanta, GA location.

The Senior Project Manager - Construction Delivery serves as a senior project leader responsible for facilitating coordination among stakeholders, identifying project constraints, supporting construction execution, and leading multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of complex capital projects within active operational environments.

Working under the direction of the Project Director, this position supports the successful delivery of large, complex projects through all phases of design, construction, commissioning, activation, and turnover. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience delivering complex vertical construction projects, preferably within aviation or other highly operational environments where stakeholder coordination, collaboration, and operational continuity are critical to project success.

Your Impact
  • Support the Project Director in the successful delivery of complex capital projects.
  • Lead day-to-day project execution activities for assigned projects or program elements.
  • Review design documents and identify stakeholder, operational, utility, access, and coordination requirements necessary to support construction activities.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary activities involving architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, technology, security, and specialty systems.
  • Facilitate issue resolution among designers, contractors, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Lead stakeholder meetings and coordinate activities among groups with competing priorities.
  • Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and overall project performance.
  • Support executive reporting, presentations, and decision-making.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to project managers, assistant project managers, and project support staff.
Who You Are

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience delivering complex vertical construction projects.
  • Minimum 5 years in a project leadership role supporting design and construction delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating stakeholders on complex capital projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to review construction documents and identify coordination requirements necessary to support project execution.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary building systems and project teams.
  • Experience delivering projects within active operational environments.
  • Experience managing stakeholder engagement on highly visible projects involving multiple user groups and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring project staff.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience delivering airport terminals, concourses, transportation facilities, healthcare facilities, convention centers, stadiums, or other complex public infrastructure projects.
  • Experience managing projects exceeding $100 million in construction value.
  • Professional Engineer (PE), Registered Architect (RA), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or similar credential.
  • Experience supporting commissioning, activation, and turnover activities.
