Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex, enterprise-scale technology initiatives. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage end-to-end project execution while actively contributing to business analysis, stakeholder management, vendor coordination, organizational change management, and governance activities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading large-scale IT programs, ERP implementations, contact center modernization projects, and cross-functional teams in highly regulated or enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Leadership
• Lead the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of enterprise technology programs.
• Develop and maintain project charters, project plans, schedules, resource plans, budgets, risk registers, issue logs, and communication plans.
• Apply appropriate project delivery methodologies based on project requirements and organizational needs.
• Take ownership of project outcomes and proactively identify and mitigate risks before they impact delivery.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
• Drive program governance, reporting, and executive-level communication activities.

Hands-On Delivery & Business Analysis
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and functional specifications.
• Facilitate business process mapping, workflow analysis, and gap assessment sessions.
• Review and validate user stories, requirements documentation, and solution designs.
• Support data migration planning, validation activities, and testing efforts.
• Assist with test planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), defect management, and production readiness activities.
• Identify team capability gaps and provide direct support to ensure project continuity and success.
• Diagnose project issues, evaluate solution options, and drive issue resolution to closure.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for program delivery and stakeholder communication.
• Prepare executive-level status reports, steering committee materials, and governance presentations.
• Build strong relationships with business leaders, technology teams, vendors, and external partners.
• Manage vendor performance against contractual commitments, milestones, deliverables, and service levels.
• Support contract reviews, change order negotiations, and vendor governance activities.
• Facilitate collaboration across business, technology, operations, finance, human resources, security, audit, and compliance teams.
• Remove project roadblocks and resolve cross-functional dependencies to maintain project momentum.

Procurement & Implementation Oversight
• Support procurement activities including requirements definition, RFP development, vendor evaluations, demonstrations, scoring, and contract negotiations.
• Oversee solution implementation activities including design, configuration, integrations, testing, training, deployment, and stabilization.
• Coordinate data migration, system integration, cutover planning, and post-implementation support activities.
• Lead organizational change management initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption strategies.

Governance, Risk & Financial Management
• Ensure compliance with organizational governance standards, security requirements, procurement policies, and project management methodologies.
• Manage project budgets, financial forecasts, expenditures, and variance reporting.
• Identify, assess, document, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Maintain audit-ready project documentation, decision logs, and governance records.
• Provide transparent reporting to executive sponsors and leadership teams.

PMO Leadership & Continuous Improvement
• Contribute to PMO process improvements, methodologies, templates, reporting standards, and governance practices.
• Mentor project coordinators, business analysts, and junior project managers.
• Promote best practices in project management, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and organizational change management.
• Support project portfolio planning, prioritization, and resource management activities.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive project management experience leading enterprise-scale technology initiatives.
• 5+ years of experience managing large IT implementations with multi-disciplinary teams and significant project budgets.
• Experience leading at least one full lifecycle ERP implementation or contact center/call center modernization project.
• Strong hands-on business analysis experience, including requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and stakeholder facilitation.
• Proven ability to identify risks proactively and recover or stabilize at-risk projects.
• Experience managing vendors, system integrators, and third-party service providers.
• Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow SPM, Planview, or similar platforms.
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience preparing executive-level reports, governance materials, and steering committee presentations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience delivering technology programs within government, public sector, financial services, pension administration, or other regulated industries.
• Experience leading ERP migration initiatives, including financial system modernization, data conversion, and integration activities.
• Experience implementing omnichannel contact center solutions, including voice, email, chat, SMS, AI-powered customer service, IVR, workforce management, and CRM integrations.
• Previous experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Lead, or Business Systems Analyst.
• Experience leading organizational change management initiatives for large user communities.
• Experience managing cloud-based enterprise application implementations.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor evaluations, and contract management.
• Experience mentoring project teams and leading PMO process improvement initiatives.
