Senior Project Management Specialist
Position Responsibilities:- Lead complex, cross functional projects from concept through implementation, ensuring on time delivery, within budget and alignment with business objectives
- Manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities across all functional teams
- Directs and provides high level studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), determines scope, reports, and oversight of planning requests. Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case.
- Develop visibility of the future business environment, opportunities and key projects
- Develops solutions to highly complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation.
- Authorizes commitment of resources by obtaining approvals from stakeholders.
- Mentor and coach project team members promoting project management best practices and career development
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work in Seal Beach, CA.Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Finance or a related field OR equivalent work experience
- 6-8 years + of experience in Program or Project Management.
- 6-8 years + of experience developing presentation materials suitable for executive level management.
- 6-8 years + of experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives.
- 6-8 years + of experience working in ambiguous and fast changing environments
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):- Master's degree in business or a related field
- Experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
- Experience applying analytical skills, performing analysis and scenario modeling
- Strong leadership and project management skills with a track record of building and leading teams in a cross-functional environment
- Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence stakeholders at all levels
