Qualifications

• 5-7 years of project engineering management experience in oil & gas capital projects, preferably in SAGD or gas processing.
• Strong understanding of project execution, management, and control methodologies.
• Experience managing full life cycle projects from FEED to commissioning.
• Effective verbal and written communicator, with strong people and negotiation skills.
• Must hold an engineering degree and a PMP designation or equivalent experience.
• Active practicing registration with APEGA or EGBC required.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering team on large-scale oil & gas projects, ensuring adherence to objectives and safety.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams for integrated, technically sound designs.
• Support project phases from definition to detailed engineering and commissioning.
• Ensure deliverables meet codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Regularly interface with project management, procurement, and construction teams.
• Mentor engineering staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Act as a key engineering liaison for internal and external stakeholders.
