Full Job Description

We have an immediate need for a Senior Project Engineer in the microelectronics/semiconductor space in the Minneapolis area.

 

Salary: $100K to $120K Travel: 10 to 49%

 

The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for managing our water treatment equipment projects from contract origin to commissioning at our clients. Projects require large amounts of communication with project team and clients including contractors. It is imperative that you are professional and own the team’s success.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the design development of water treatment systems. Able to perform and assist in the development of Process Engineering, P&ID drawings, plant layouts, skid assembly drawings.
  • Prepare equipment specifications and design documents for client review, skid fabrication, and operation.
  • Understand GA drawing and direct subcontractor on construction site
  • Travel up to 49%.
  • Performs special projects as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or equivalent with five to eight years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2 plus years ultra-pure water system experience including reverse osmosis, membrane degasification, ultra-filtration, ion exchange equipment
  • 2 plus years’ experience in pumps and piping systems, SS, PVC, PP and PVDF

Physical and Mental requirements: Being able to do the following in a safe and effective manner:

  • Climbing, ascending, and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and industrial equipment, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
  • Reaching and extending hands and arms in any direction.
  • Standing and walking for sustained periods of time.
  • Pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, and stooping for sustained periods of time.
  • Using upper extremities to move objects and equipment with steady force.
  • Sometimes working in temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour.
