Senior Project Controls Analyst, Project & Development Services

Job Description Summary
The Senior Analyst, Project Controls will serve as the lead on large or high-risk capital projects, responsible for coordinating cost and schedule activities and acting as the primary point of contact for project-level controls delivery. Partners with project and program teams to plan, track, forecast, and analyze performance, while identifying risks and supporting effective decision-making.

This position with lead cost and/or schedule workstreams on complex projects, coordinating inputs from analysts, schedulers, and stakeholders to ensure integrated, accurate reporting. Interface directly with client stakeholders, communicating project performance, risks, and recommendations. Support development and management of budgets, forecasts, and schedules, and monitor performance against plan to identify trends and mitigation strategies. Provide oversight and guidance to supporting team members and partner with Managers to ensure consistency in reporting and delivery. Ensure alignment with established project controls standards, tools, and processes.
Job Description
REQUIRED SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Experience performing budgeting, cost management, planning, estimating, scheduling and other project controls functions over engineering, procurement, and construction for Opex and Capex construction projects of varying size and complexity
  • Knowledge of project control fundamentals with superior analytical skills
  • Expertise in financial analysis, schedule analysis, modeling and budgeting methodologies
  • Coordinate with senior leadership on communications of Project Controls information with stakeholders
  • Advanced analytics and data manipulation skills
  • Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
  • Understanding of project management and business processes and systems
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders at varied levels with different leadership styles
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Ability to facilitate meetings including preparation of agendas, presentations, meeting minutes, action items, and other meeting documentation
  • Ensure a high level of accuracy and customer service is delivered by team members
  • Make recommendations for developing and improving project control and finance processes
  • Respond to inquiries regarding special financial reporting requests
  • At the completion of the project, develop and ensure recording of the project's historical cost information and "lessons learned" for future use.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, business, engineering or related field
  • 10+ years' relevant work experience in project controls on capital projects, including design and construction phases
  • Direct experience working on teams within a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Expertise using Excel
  • Experience within the construction industry required, candidates with additional life sciences experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of P6, OPC, or other scheduling software is preferred
  • Must possess exemplary communication skills - both oral and written.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $ 136,000.00 - $160,000.00
