Help Ensure Compliance Across Critical Employee Benefit Programs as a Sr Project Analyst!PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical
Sr Project Analyst to support regulatory compliance activities for retirement, health & welfare, and VEBA benefit plans. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely and accurate regulatory filings, maintaining compliance with federal and state requirements, supporting audits, and minimizing organizational risk.

What You'll Do Regulatory Filings & Compliance - Manage the preparation, coordination, and submission of IRS Form 5500 filings and supporting schedules.
- Support SEC Form 11-K filings and ensure alignment with applicable financial reporting requirements.
- Coordinate ACA reporting activities, including:
- IRS Form 1094-B/C
- IRS Form 1095-B/C
- Support state disability filings and other required regulatory submissions.
- Ensure compliance with:
- ERISA
- IRS regulations
- Department of Labor (DOL) requirements
- ACA
- HIPAA
- COBRA
- FMLA
- State regulatory requirements
Benefits Plan Administration - Maintain and update:
- Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs)
- Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC)
- Required participant disclosures
- Monitor regulatory changes and implement updates to policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Maintain compliance calendars and monitor filing deadlines.
Audit & Risk Management - Support internal and external audits of employee benefit plans.
- Manage audit requests, findings, and corrective action activities.
- Coordinate with auditors, legal counsel, third-party administrators (TPAs), and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure retirement plan financial statement audits are completed on time and accurately.
Data Analysis & Reporting - Analyze and validate benefits and plan-related data.
- Ensure data accuracy across filings, reports, and documentation.
- Develop compliance reporting metrics and management reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve compliance processes and controls.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Business
- Minimum 3 years of accounting and auditing experience
- Experience with financial statement preparation or auditing preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications - Benefits compliance experience.
- Experience supporting:
- Retirement Plans (DB/DC)
- Health & Welfare Plans
- VEBA Plans
- Experience managing or supporting IRS Form 5500 filings.
- Knowledge of:
- ERISA
- IRS Regulations
- DOL Requirements
- ACA
- HIPAA
- COBRA
- Experience supporting SEC Form 11-K filings.
- ACA reporting experience (1094/1095 filings).
- Employee benefit plan audit experience.
- Experience using:
- Workday

- Other HRIS/Benefits systems
