Telework

S ummary
The Senior Program Support Administrator partners with senior management and staff and provides information, analyses, and recommendations that support sound managerial decision-making and strategic planning. This position requires excellent analytical skills to evaluate, integrate data, develop conclusions, and support recommendations using complex and dynamic information from multiple sources. Evaluates complex issues with the potential for substantial impact, analyzing various alternatives within the overall organizational context to provide data-driven conclusions and recommendations.

Typical duties may include, but not be limited to:
Apply innovative, analytical thinking in developing data sources, ensuring data integrity, developing thorough and creative analyses, and presenting data-driven solutions and recommendations to management.
Exercise strategic thinking in identifying issues, opportunities, and alternatives; developing proposed solutions, process improvements, or strategies; presenting recommendations; and supporting implementation.
Develop, maintain, analyze, and present data critical to support sound managerial decision-making, key performance indicators (KPIs), and related dashboards for capital project and departmental management purposes.
Perform information-gathering, evaluation, research, and data integration from multiple sources , ensuring data quality, consistency, completeness, and timeliness.
Develop, update, and maintain detailed management reports, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, and related systems to support managerial oversight of the capital program, project management, departmental personnel, or operations.
Perform rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis to support project delivery and managerial objectives.
Handle confidential and sensitive information about capital projects, departmental personnel, or operations.
Support the development and implementation of processes and procedures.
Support analysis, communication, and implementation of strategies and initiatives to support organizational transformation.
Coordinate with management and staff throughout the department and other C&D units as needed.
May serve as lead for a significant program/project(s), initiative, or aspect of departmental operations.
May support leadership in developing and implementing initiatives, strategic planning, analysis, or reporting.
E ducation and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, Architecture, Mathematics, or a related field.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
A Master's degree may substitute for two years of the required experience.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
Aptitude for quantitative analysis with the ability to effectively synthesize and communicate complex management issues.
Experience in analytical roles, including developing and maintaining complex reports, analyses, databases, and/or systems preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of MTA policies, procedures, and processes related to departmental operations and/or capital project/program budget and administration preferred.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player.
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and a focus on data integrity.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate complex quantitative and analytical concepts.
Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and team members.
Ability to anticipate and support timely resolution of potential issues.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with sound judgment and discretion.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
Experience with software applications related to capital project management (such as A site, PSR, and Visio) preferred.
