Job DescriptionYou will be the Senior Program Quality Engineer for the IRST program team. Our team is responsible for providing onsite quality engineering support at LMMFC-Orlando and customer sites, ensuring delivery of high-quality products, and driving IRST development for domestic and international customers.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Senior Program Quality Engineer you will be responsible for delivering top-tier quality engineering support across the IRST program.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide onsite quality engineering support at LMMFC-Orlando and customer locations.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality products to customers.
- Support IRST development efforts for domestic and international customers.
- Conduct quality assessments, audits, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.

Basic QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a STEM related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education.
Must be able to acquire and maintain a United
States security clearance.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to present and articulate technical issues (both verbal and written).
Ability to facilitate and lead root cause and corrective action investigations to address and resolve quality related issues.
Ability to interpret Drawings, Specifications, and Standards.
Experience in using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) tools.
Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Desired skillsMaster's Degree in a STEM discipline is preferred.
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Minimum 5 years technical experience in quality assurance, manufacturing/production, engineering development, and/or defense/aerospace industry. or 3 years experience with a related masters degree.
Expertise in quality assurance methodologies, tools, techniques, and principles in support of root cause analysis, hardware build, inspection, and/or test.
Expertise in quality engineering tools and software such as Apriso, SAP, P2P, Windchill, Confluence, Teams, JIRA, AMS.
LSS or LM Green or Black Belt Certification.
ASQ Certification(s)
GD&T experience
Interpretation and application experience in AS9102, AS9100, and/or ISO9001.
Interpretation and application experience in J-STD-001, IPC-6012, IPC-A-610.
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $81,600 - $143,865. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
