Job Title: Senior Program Procurement Lead

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the program's procurement team, maturing and scaling the centralized purchasing function structures, workflows, and subcontract frameworks to meet growing demand.
  • Serve as the authoritative interface for all purchasing matters across technical managers, program support staff, and government stakeholders.
  • Scale high-volume procurement pipelines to keep pace with rapidly expanding Counter-UAS material and acquisition requirements.
  • Stay hands-on drafting, negotiating, and executing complex procurement packages alongside the team.
  • Drive absolute FAR/DFARS compliance and integrate technical requirements with defense contracting standards to eliminate purchasing friction and accelerate cycle velocity.
  • Own procurement driven revenue forecasting and lead the team in maintaining systems that accurately track material receipt, ensuring timely, reliable revenue recognition.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships and material readiness to prevent supply chain bottlenecks across multiple theaters.


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, acquisition management, business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of DoD or federal procurement and acquisition experience, including leading and developing procurement teams in a high-volume, high-dollar-value environment.
  • Advanced, hands-on command of FAR/DFARS and defense contracting standards.
  • Proven track record drafting, negotiating, and executing complex procurement packages and subcontracts under tight timelines.
  • Experience building or standing up procurement functions, workflows, or purchasing operations.
  • Experience with revenue forecasting and material receipt tracking, particularly where procurement drives revenue recognition.
  • Confident interfacing directly with senior government leadership, technical staff, and program leadership.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.


Desired:
  • Experience supporting Counter-UAS or other rapidly scaling DoD mission areas.
  • Experience scaling, maturing, or optimizing a centralized procurement function.
  • Familiarity with multi-theater material requirements and supply chain management.
  • Advanced degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., DAWIA, CPCM, CFCM, NCMA).

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
