Senior Program Manager
- Working independently, manages all aspects of a program from inception through final delivery of product. Resolves problems, escalating as necessary, and makes recommendations and occasional decisions regarding pricing, schedules, commit dates, etc.
- Program management also emphasizes the coordinating and prioritizing of resources, managing links between the program and the overall costs and risks of the program
- Project planning, project schedules and detailed project management plan, development of budgets, billing, and change control
- Builds productive internal/external working relationships
- Responsible for all program aspects and ensures program-related decisions are guided by the terms and conditions of the customer's contract
- Responsible for customer management and satisfaction, order management and delivery, revenue achievement, business issue resolution (A/R, E& O material issues, PPV, credit, RMA's), and business development
- Develop and maintain business relationships with customers and cultivate relationships that establish SCI's consultative approach and promote its total solution capabilities within customers' and potential customer's organizations
- Understand Sanmina and SCI Technology, Inc. offerings for vertical integration and directs customer appropriately towards additional or alternative Sanmina-SCI products or services
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Education and Experience:
- Candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
- Minimum of 5 years program/project management experience
- Strong program management experience
- The ideal candidate will have a "hands on" program management experience with highly technical, detailed programs requiring stringent reporting requirements
- Strong business acumen developed through a combination of education and experience
- Should be able to demonstrate relationship building skills and be comfortable interacting with professionals at all organizational levels
- Solid negotiation skills are required for interaction with both customers and internal stake holders
- Ability to be persuasive, while at the same time providing a win/win flavor to all dealings
