Position Summary

Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for a SeniorAcquisition Program Management Professional supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Adaptive Weapons division (AFLCMC/EBI) at Eglin AFB, FL. This position provides acquisition and program management support across the full life cycle of air armament and conventional munitions systems, enabling rapid, data-driven decision making in support of mission-critical programs.

Our Program Managers support the government with planning, researching, analyzing and assessing the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of weapons systems and associated equipment acquisitions (development, productionanddeployment), and formulate plans and recommend strategies to meet cost, schedule, and performanceobjectives.

Responsibilities

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide acquisition program management support across all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle (Materiel Solution Analysis through Operations & Support)
  • Advise Government Program Managers on program execution, acquisition strategy, and risk management
  • Develop, review, and coordinate acquisition documentation such as:
    • Acquisition Strategy (AS)
    • Systems Engineering Plan (SEP)
    • Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP)
    • Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP)
    • Statement of Work (SOW), Statement of Objectives (SOO), and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
  • Monitor and evaluate program cost, schedule, and performance using metrics and Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks; maintain and manage risk registers
  • Lead or support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), milestone reviews, and technical reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR)
  • Support source selection activities, including proposal evaluation and contract modifications
  • Coordinate across engineering, logistics, test, and financial stakeholders to ensure integrated program execution
  • Prepare and deliver briefings, status reports, and decision support materials to senior leadership
  • Support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and international armaments cooperation efforts, as applicable

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain an active Top Secret clearance

Education and experience: Bachelor27s degree and 25 years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree and 15 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications: PMP

Technical Skills

  • DoDAF 2.2 (or later) products; NR-KPP / ISP / IASP / PPP

  • JCIDS support; CBA / ICD / CDD / CPD development

  • Requirements traceability; DOORS / SysML (or equivalent)

  • FAR / DoD 5000.2 acquisition program support

  • RFP development (SRD / SOO / SOW / CDRL) and source selection support

  • Configuration baseline support (MIL-HDBK-67 / ANSI/EIA-649)

  • Risk management, program schedule execution support, and financial analyses

  • Relevant degree in Management or Business (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong knowledge of DoDI 5000.02, DoDI 5000.75, AFI 6391, AFI 63138, AFPAM 63128, and related acquisition guidance.
  • Experience supporting ACAT program offices and Government program managers.
  • Proficiency with DoD acquisition systems (DAMIR, EDA, PMRT, CRIS).
  • Demonstrated skill in requirements development, documentation, and DoDAF/SysML modeling.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly2both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, and program documentation for senior decision makers

Interpersonal Skills

  • Ability to support short-notice requirements and accelerated delivery timelines

  • Ability to coordinate across functional disciplines and develop briefings/decision support information
