Raytheon's Navy Fire Control Radar Program is seeking a highly motivated Senior Program Manager, for the Advanced Capabilities / International portfolio of programs. The selected individual will be responsible for overall program execution, will work with internal company partners to shape program scope and requirements, support and lead capture activities including proposals, win strategies, cost estimating approach and analysis, and gates. Further responsibilities include developing technology roadmaps and working closely with the customer.
This role is onsite in El Segundo, CA.
What You Will Do - Requires daily interface with customers and the engineering team in communicating financial status, engineering progress, issues, and opportunities
- Ensure risk / opportunity management plans are comprehensive and executed to meet program and business commitments
- Execution of the annual and 5-year business plan to meet commitments to Raytheon
- Travel up to 25% based on business needs
Qualifications You Must Have- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
- Program Management domain experience such as a Cost Account Manager, Integrated Product Team Lead, Chief Engineer or similar program management related experience
- Experience in integrated master plan and schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity management, Earned Value management (EVMS), closed loop corrective actions, configuration control and/or financial reporting
- Experience with cost and schedule management and/or developing financial forecasts
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. government issued security clearance and program access after start
Qualifications We Prefer- Program Management Level 5 Certification or ability to obtain within six months
- Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate across multiple functional areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Contracts, and Engineering
- Experience in applying Best Practices; preferably knowledge and experience with PM Best Practices
- Advanced knowledge of related disciplines within work area and ability to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs or systems
- Leadership skills to effectively work with cross functional teams to foster improvements in established processes across all program areas to ensure predictable, quick reaction results
- Active Secret security clearance

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
