Full Job Description
Senior Program Manager, Legal Enablement & Knowledge Management

Okta's Legal Operations team is scaling how we capture, structure, and serve legal knowledge across the enterprise. We are seeking a Senior Program Manager, Legal Enablement & Knowledge Strategy to build a modern, high-impact enablement ecosystem and knowledge management (KM) program designed for both human learning and enterprise AI system ingestion.

In this strategic individual contributor role, you will define the multi-year legal enablement and KM roadmap, structure internal legal content to power AI models and self-service search tools, and produce engaging, multimedia training programs for our global legal team and internal business partners.

What You'll Do
  • Strategic Roadmap & Program Leadership: Establish and execute a 0-to-1 multi-year strategy for Legal Enablement and KM, driving self-service adoption across the business to significantly reduce repetitive legal inquiries.
  • AI & Content Structuring: Build standards for content capture, governance, metadata, and data tagging taxonomies so legal information can be seamlessly indexed, retrieved, and ingested by internal AI search tools, bots, and LLMs.
  • Multimedia Enablement & Video Production: Design, script, record, and maintain engaging e-learning modules, video content, quick-reference guides, and onboarding programs for the Legal department and cross-functional business partners.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Sales Enablement, Okta University, and central L&D to unify company-wide legal enablement initiatives and ensure consistent messaging.
  • Mentorship & Metrics: Guide and mentor the Training & Knowledge Management Specialist, establish clear metrics (adoption rates, self-service resolution, and program ROI), and report directly to the Director, Legal Innovation & AI Strategy.

What You Bring
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience building Knowledge Management, Enablement, or Instructional Design programs at scale within a high-growth tech or corporate enterprise environment (in-house enterprise experience strongly preferred over firm-only consulting).
  • Data Tagging & AI Content Structuring: Practical experience with content taxonomy, metadata tagging frameworks, and an understanding of how structured data impacts vector databases, search retrieval, and enterprise AI tools.
  • E-Learning & Video Production Expertise: Direct proficiency in building e-learning courses and video assets using tools like Articulate 360, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar authoring and LMS platforms.
  • Tech Stack Mastery: Advanced experience with modern enterprise KM and enablement tools (e.g., Confluence, Highspot, WalkMe, or workflow automation platforms like TAP).
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders, drive change management, and translate complex legal concepts into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences.

Bonus Points For
  • Direct experience working within or supporting an in-house corporate Legal department.
  • Demonstrated understanding of core legal operations workflows and terminology.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Knowledge Management, Learning & Development, or a related field.
