Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Program Management will be responsible for managing PMO teams and overseeing programs from concept through launch. This position will present the status of each program to management including milestone planning, deliverables, launch readiness, risk assessment, and will coordinate Gate reviews. This role will lead a multi-disciplinary team to achieve Real Truck organizational goals within budget. This position will track and ensure the health of related projects as they correlate to the successful implementation and maintenance of the program lifecycle.

CORE FUNCTIONS
• Implement and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives. Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement.
• Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached and delivered to schedule.
• Support financial goals by forecasting program requirements, supply input for programs and annual budget. Develop and manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity.
• Lead weekly cross-functional team meetings to ensure success outcomes for both internal and external customers.
• Lead and engage in trouble shooting with the team to develop options for success during complex situations.
• Assure adherence to corporate APQP process deliverables.
  • Prepare and complete action plans. This may include tracking production productivity for programs, resolving problems, completing audits, finding system improvements, and implementing changes.

• Work closely with the Product Category sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
• Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives.
• Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department.
• Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Engineering, manufacturing, or business.
• 9+ years of experience in Program Management and PM leadership required.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in people management in a PMO and in support of an NPD process.
• Experience managing cross functional teams and matrix style organizations required.

Required Licenses
• PMP certification is preferred.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
• Firm grasp of APQP principles.
• Proficiency with standard software applications (MS Excel, Word, Power point, Project), and familiarity with other web-based applications.
• Ability to effectively present information to top management. Ability to write, speak and comprehend English; secondary language is a plus.
• Familiar with common business practices, financial calculations, and ability to track program costs.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and teambuilding skills.

• Ability to identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Ability to analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders.
• Ability to drive the cross functional team to accomplish program maintenance while utilizing the RealTruck Program Management Process and disciplines.
• Strong, professional verbal and written communication skills.

Travel
Occasional travel is required, approximately 20-25% to meet supplier and internal/external customer needs. Ability to travel to supporting plants in the US and Canada and potentially Mexico.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• working team member who coordinates, supports, trains, and is a knowledge resource for other team members. No direct reports or supervisory responsibility.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• This position is subject to sedentary work; exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involved sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.

• This position is subject to the following physical activities: standing, walking, talking, hearing, and the use of hands, wrists, or fingers in a repetitive motion.

Visual Acuity
• The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.

Working Conditions
• This position primarily operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
