About The RoleAs the Senior Manager, Events (Fora X), you'll own the strategy, execution, and evolution of a portfolio of high-value events built for this segment - from recurring Advisor Intensives, Fora X workshops, and AI enablement sessions to annual recognition events and more complex, elevated productions such as business summits for our top advisors.
Reporting to the Head of Advisor Events, this role works cross-functionally with our Fora X team to ensure this portfolio of events is executed at a consistently high standard. You'll own the budget, the run-of-show, the advisor experience end-to-end, and ultimately the strategic direction of this portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- End-to-End Event Ownership: Own end-to-end strategy and execution of Fora X events, including training intensives, executive business summits, workshops, AI enablement, and Recognition Events, ensuring a consistently high standard across programming, production, and attendee experience
- Event Portfolio Strategy: Lead the development and evolution of the Fora X event portfolio, defining goals, structure, and success metrics aligned to advisor engagement, partner value, and brand impact
- Planning & Execution Management: Develop and manage detailed event plans, timelines, and run-of-show documents to ensure seamless execution across complex, large-scale programs
- Attendee Journey: Oversee attendee experience across all touchpoints, including registration, communications, and on-site execution, ensuring a clear and cohesive experience at scale
- Strategic Prioritization: Drive planning and prioritization across the portfolio, balancing multiple complex workstreams and timelines
- Operational Infrastructure: Build and maintain structured workflows and processes that support efficient planning and execution across complex events
- Budget & Financial Management: Own event budgets, including forecasting, expense tracking, revenue considerations, and post-event reconciliation, with strong financial discipline
- Performance & Commercial Impact: Track and communicate the commercial impact of events - including advisor engagement, supplier relationship development, and business outcomes - to inform future programming decisions and continuously improve event offerings
- Cross-Functional Project Leadership: Drive meetings and cross-functional work across a pod of stakeholders, maintaining clear action items, work-back schedules, and assignments so nothing stalls
Requirements- 6-8+ years in executive/business-driving events, education or enablement programming, or growth-focused community programming
- Track record designing events with a clear business objective - measurable change in audience behavior/outcomes post-event, not just smooth execution
- Demonstrated ability to run repeatable events at a consistently high standard, improving execution over time
- Experience with venue sourcing, RFP process management, and contracting/negotiations with venues and partners
- Experience managing event budgets - forecasting, cost tracking, reconciliation
- Experience with peer learning models (cohorts, masterminds, roundtables, tiered community programming)
- Data-informed mindset - experience defining metrics and using performance data/feedback to shape programming
- Highly organized, with strong logistical follow-through across a high-volume calendar
- Willingness and ability to travel roughly 6-8 days per quarter for events
Strongly Preferred- Experience in travel, hospitality, or a related high-touch service industry
- Experience with event technology platforms (e.g., Splash, Cvent)
- Exposure to automation platforms, AI tools, or workflow systems
CompensationCompensation for this role varies based on experience, with an indicative range of $125K-$160K + equity. Final compensation will depend on the level at which the candidate is hired, as we're considering multiple levels for this role.
