This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.THE ROLE: As a Senior Program Manager in Data Center CSP Program Management, you will lead end-to-end execution of AMD's Cloud Service Provider (CSP) data center GPU programs - from contract and site kickoff through build, deployment, go-live, and sustaining operations. This role owns the operational discipline behind a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of CSP and Managed Data Center engagements spanning site readiness and energization, rack build and validation, customer handover, fleet health, and capacity pipeline planning. Partnering across Engineering, Business Development, Product Management, Supply Chain, OEM/ODM partners, and CSP customers, you will plan requirements, drive schedules, manage risk, and deliver the governance, reporting, and executive visibility that keep large-scale GPU deployments on track.
THE PERSON: You are a proven program leader who thrives in a highly matrixed, "responsibility without line authority" environment. You are equally comfortable presenting status, risk, and recommendations to senior executives and AMD customers as you are working with technical detail with engineering, data center operations, and supply chain teams. You bring exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ruthless prioritization, and a no-excuses ownership mindset. You are highly organized, able to juggle multiple concurrent workstreams across many customers and sites to tight deadlines, and you instinctively replace manual, ad-hoc tracking with standardized data models, dashboards, and repeatable governance.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Program Execution: Own end-to-end execution of CSP and Managed Data Center GPU programs across the full lifecycle - kickoff, pre-contract, build, validate, deploy, go-live, and sustaining - driving milestone attainment, dependency management, and delivery readiness across multiple customers and sites concurrently.
- Data Center Operations & Site Readiness: Drive site-level execution with providers and partners, tracking energization, commissioning, RFS/COD dates, power and capacity commitments, and integration test milestones; escalate and recover schedule slips before they reach the customer.
- Customer Deployment & Handover: Manage cluster build, validation, burn-in, acceptance criteria, and customer handover; coordinate AMD, OEM/ODM, and CSP teams to hit go-live commitments and close handover risk.
- Fleet Health & Issue Management: Govern nodes-in-service, RMA, field failure, and open-issue tracking across the deployed fleet; drive prioritization, root-cause closure, and recovery plans with engineering, platform, software, and supply chain teams, and hold owners accountable to closure dates.
- Capacity Pipeline & Planning: Lead the forward capacity pipeline - standardizing provider submissions into a unified capacity data model, scoring and tiering opportunities on readiness (power secured, land control, permits, design, financing, construction, provider confidence), and publishing a governed, risk-adjusted view of multi-gigawatt capacity by site, year, and quarter.
- Reporting, Dashboards & Automation: Build and operationalize executive reporting - status dashboards, utilization and issue metrics, and pipeline views in Power BI, SharePoint, and internal CSP systems - eliminating manual consolidation and replacing spreadsheet sprawl with automated, governed data flows.
- Stakeholder & Executive Communication: Serve as the primary program contact across Engineering, Business Development, Product Management, Supply Chain, Operations, and IT; run status reviews, drive cross-functional decisions, and present progress, risks, and tradeoffs to senior leadership and customers with precision and clarity.
- Governance & Process Improvement: Establish and sustain consistent program governance - intake, prioritization, planning, change management, reporting cadence, and escalation paths - across Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery models, and continuously improve the process through automation and analytics.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify risks, execution gaps, and systemic bottlenecks across supply, schedule, technical readiness, and partner performance; build and drive mitigation and recovery plans.
- AI-Enabled Productivity: Identify, promote, and adopt practical AI and AI-powered program management tooling to draw program insights, improve productivity, simplify processes, and increase execution velocity.
- PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Multiple and recent years of progressive program management experience leading complex, large-scale, multi-site technology programs end-to-end in a matrixed organization.
- Direct experience with data center, cloud service provider, or large-scale infrastructure deployment programs - site readiness, power and energization, rack build and validation, deployment, and sustaining operations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage delivery plans, schedules, resource needs, risks, dependencies, budgets, and stakeholder communications across many concurrent workstreams.
- Experience managing OEM/ODM, hyperscaler, and CSP partner relationships, including acceptance criteria, handover, and escalation management.
- Strong data and reporting skills - building standardized data models, executive dashboards, and metrics; hands-on experience with Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and program tracking systems (MS Project, Jira, or equivalent).
- Thrives in "responsibility without line authority" leadership; able to build relationships, network across functions and levels, and drive effective decision-making without direct reports.
- Ability to structure and execute complex analysis, draw insights, and communicate summary findings and recommendations to senior management and AMD customers.
- Strong understanding of project delivery life cycles, including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid approaches.
- Precise, direct communication tailored to the audience.
- Ability to identify, promote, and evangelize practical AI opportunities that improve productivity and support responsible adoption across teams and stakeholders.
