Full Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to support Prime Video International's paid media team across Europe, Latin America, and Canada - specifically the media managers who plan and buy media. The role has two parts. First, you will improve how financial operations work - automating manual processes like invoicing, budget tracking, and reconciliation, moving tasks to offshore teams, and building tools so media managers spend less time on financial admin and more time on decisions. With new AI products emerging, there is opportunity to rethink how these processes work, not just improve them incrementally. Second, you will manage media vendor relationships to ensure we get the best value from our spend - renegotiating contracts, identifying savings, and testing new commercial models with partners. You will work across media operations, technology, and finance teams to deliver both. You will be goaled on tangible outcomes: reducing media rates, saving hours for media managers, securing credits and additional savings from vendors, and maintaining on-time payment rates. The metrics are clear and the impact is measurable. Prime Video International recently merged its regional media operations into one organisation covering 20+ countries. There is a foundation in place, but plenty of runway - processes need to be aligned across markets, new ones need to be built, and the tooling is ready to be pushed further.
To be successful in this role you will have a mix of strategic vision and proven program management expertise, as well as be comfortable embracing ambiguity in a complex financial environment. Your ability to quickly understand business context and priorities, together with your analytical and problem-solving mindset, will enable you to deliver measurable impact across both operational and commercial initiatives. You are able to simplify complex financial concepts and technical requirements, establishing robust frameworks that accelerate decision-making and provide clarity. Your exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working with large volumes of financial data will be crucial. You have excellent written & verbal communication skills and demonstrated experience managing multiple large-scale programs simultaneously. You are adept at building positive relationships across technical, financial, and business teams, with a strong track record of senior stakeholder engagement. You will push the boundaries by challenging the status quo, driving adoption of automated solutions and new commercial approaches, while building scalable programs that deliver lasting value.
Key job responsibilities
• Run programs that improve media financial operations across 20+ countries - from invoicing and billing to budget tracking and reconciliation
• Identify manual processes and either automate them or move them to offshore teams
• Manage vendor and agency relationships to negotiate better rates, secure credits, and test new commercial models
• Build and maintain program roadmaps and keep senior leaders informed on progress
• Own billing operations and financial governance across markets
• Create frameworks that help the team make commercial decisions consistently across countries
A day in the life
You might start the morning resolving a billing issue with a vendor in Brazil that has different tax requirements to the rest of the region. By mid-morning, you are reviewing automation metrics with the agency team to check whether a new invoicing workflow is actually saving time. After lunch, you join a call with a media partner to negotiate better terms for next quarter. Later, you update your program roadmap, flag a blocker to senior leadership, and spend the last hour working with a tech team on how an AI tool could replace a manual reconciliation process.
