Full Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic Senior Program Manager to join our team! The Senior Program Manager is a key leadership role within the organization tasked with managing a significant portion of the project portfolio. The Senior Program Manager is pivotal in steering the strategic and operational trajectory for the US Census Bureau. This leadership position demands the orchestration of comprehensive business plans that resonate with the company's strategic vision, galvanizing team commitment, enhancing the organization's value proposition, and ensuring accountability across performance metrics. Tasked with overseeing the portfolio's project set, budget management, risk mitigation, and maintaining quality and customer satisfaction standards, the Senior Program Manager embodies the principles of excellence, loyalty, teamwork, and professional development. By collaborating with the Growth Team to identify and secure new opportunities and actively engaging with the corporate Leadership Team, this role is essential in propelling the company towards its strategic objectives.
Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Experience working with the US Census Bureau and strong understanding of the Decennial.
  • Develop and execute short and long-term planning to achieve performance goals, exceeding balanced scorecard measures for sales, revenue, profitability, and other objectives.
  • Act as Senior Customer Manager to foster business development through direct contact with customers and partners.
  • Uphold and promote the company's mission and core values, ensuring a customer-oriented and accountable environment.
  • Ensure implementation of Corporate policies and coordinate with corporate staff to meet growth objectives.
  • Develop next-level leadership through mentoring, training, and providing opportunities for increased responsibility.
  • Oversee the financial management of multiple government contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations and achievement of financial performance targets.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to expand the company's presence in key markets, identifying new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Monitor and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects, ensuring teams meet quality standards and project milestones.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to prepare proposals, bids, and presentations for potential government contracts.
  • Implement risk management practices across projects to minimize risks and ensure continuity of operations.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, and stakeholders, aligning with project objectives and company goals.
  • Champion the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Direct leadership and supervision of Project Managers and large teams
  • Responsible for personnel decisions, performance evaluations, salary reviews, and development of the department
  • Acts as a senior liaison with other departments, ensuring collaboration and effective communication
  • Engages with vendors and internal customers to ensure satisfaction and adherence to quality standards

Requirements
  • Active Public Trust, or US Citizenship is required, with the abiltiy to obtain Public Trust
  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • 15+ years of relevant experience
  • 8+ years of personnel management experience
  • 8+ years of experience within the federal government contracting industry
  • Experience with Census required, Decennial experience is preferred
  • Proven track record of successful portfolio, program management, and business development
Desired Skills
  • Advanced degree in business administration, project management, or related field
  • Extensive experience in leadership roles within large, complex projects spanning multiple areas
  • Demonstrated ability in business growth, operational excellence, and strategic planning
