Position Summary

Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Acquisition Program Logistician supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Disruptive Futures Division (AFLCMC/EBZ) at Eglin AFB, Florida.

 

This position provides comprehensive logistics support in the design, development, production, operation, and sustainment of armament systems.

Responsibilities

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide acquisition logistics and product support expertise across the DoD lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with integrated project teams to deliver effective logistics solutions.
  • Support Product Support Business Case Analysis, Sustainment Reviews, Logistics Health Assessments, and Life Cycle Sustainment Plan activities.
  • Plan, coordinate, and evaluate logistics operations for assigned systems and missions.
  • Identify and align funding, manpower, and resource requirements with program plans.
  • Perform forecasting, budgeting, and financial tracking using relevant tools and databases.
  • Conduct cost estimating and risk analyses for cost, schedule, and technical factors.
  • Coordinate with functional specialists to develop requirements, plans, and schedules.
  • Integrate cross0functional logistics elements into cohesive product support strategies.
  • Provide logistics input for RFPs, SOWs, PWSs, and CDRLs.
  • Deliver analytical insights on supply performance, reliability, and maintainability for decision0making.
Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications

 

Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen

Clearance: Current Top Secret clearance

 

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor0degree and 10 years of relevant experience; OR Master0degree and 7 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience providing acquisition logistics and product support within DoD programs.

  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and evaluate logistics operations for complex systems
  • Skilled in identifying and aligning resource requirements, including funding, manpower, and materials.
  • Proficiency in forecasting, budgeting, and financial tracking tools and databases.
  • Experience conducting cost estimating and performing risk analyses related to cost, schedule, and technical factors.
  • Ability to develop, interpret, and manage requirements, plans, and schedules.
  • Strong understanding of integrated product support elements and product support strategy development.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within integrated project teams.
  • Ability to coordinate across functional areas and partner with technical and non0technical specialists.
  • Effective communication skills for conveying logistics insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting broader team and program objectives.
