Job Description

SAIC is seeking a Senior Program Analyst to oversee and manage the operational aspects of our team in Huntsville, AL.

The Senior Program Analyst will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:
  • Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects, acting as a liaison between project management, planning, project teams, and line management.
  • Review project statuses, budgets, and schedules; prepare status reports to ensure alignment with goals and deliverables.
  • Identify and assess project issues, developing resolutions to achieve productivity, quality, and client satisfaction objectives.
  • Design and implement mechanisms for tracking project progress and facilitating intervention/problem-solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • Ensure contract and subcontractor requirements are met and oversee the definition and execution of project planning techniques for visibility on contractual activities.
  • Develop and manage budgets and schedules to fulfill contractual and project requirements effectively.
  • Establish and define program plan requirements; monitor and report performance to meet cost, schedule, and deliverable objectives.
  • Maintain a proactive focus on aligning program execution with organizational goals, contract standards, and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure timely issue resolution and effective communication in delivering project success.


Qualifications

Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree and six (6) years' experience; additional four (4) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree.


Required Clearance:
  • Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship required.


Required Skills:
  • Proven experience in project planning, execution, and management of large-scale or complex projects
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent).
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and contract requirements.
  • Experience managing and collaborating with subcontractors to ensure project deliverables.
  • Analytical problem-solving abilities to assess project issues and drive resolutions.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and trend identification to track project performance.
  • Ability to manage risk and develop contingency plans for potential disruptions.
