Full Job Description
As a Senior Analyst, Business Systems Analysis, you will be the driving force behind the development and success of our product initiatives. Operating at the intersection of business strategy, customer needs, and technical execution, you will play a critical role in shaping the direction of our products and ensuring their alignment with company goals. Leveraging your expertise in product management, you could lead a team of product owners, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that delight our customers and drive business growth.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Owner to drive the digital execution of our B2B commercial tools. In this role, you will be the primary engine for our Field Sales Team (FST) and National Accounts (NAT), ensuring our hardware and independent account managers have the high-performance tools they need to succeed in the field.

Focusing specifically on Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud and the Salesforce Mobile App, you will be responsible for translating business vision into a tangible technical reality. The ideal candidate is a master of roadmap documentation, data-driven prioritization, and the creation of high-fidelity user stories. You will work in a tight "two-in-a-box" partnership with the Technical Product Owner to bridge business requirements with technical feasibility, ensuring every feature delivered provides measurable value to our sales organization.

What you'll do in this role
  • Mobile-First Product Ownership: Act as the primary lead for the Salesforce Mobile App experience, ensuring that Consumer Goods Cloud functionality is optimized for the high-speed, on-the-go workflows of our Field Sales (FST) and National Accounts (NAT) teams.
  • Roadmap Strategy & Documentation: Own the creation and maintenance of a transparent product roadmap. You will define the "what" and the "why," documenting the evolution of our B2B tools to keep all stakeholders aligned on the path forward.
  • Data-Driven Prioritization: Lead the prioritization of the product backlog by synthesizing user data, field feedback, and business KPIs. You will ensure the team is consistently delivering the highest-impact features for our hardware and independent account sectors.
  • Strategic Requirement Definition: Translate high-level business needs into detailed, actionable user stories and clear acceptance criteria. You will ensure the business logic is so well-defined that the technical team can build with precision and speed.
  • Technical & Business Liaison: Work in close collaboration with the Technical Product Owner to review feature requirements and assess technical constraints. You will bridge this technical world back to the business by leading regular discovery and review sessions with sales leadership.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update executive and cross-functional stakeholders on roadmap progress, managing expectations and providing clarity on how digital enhancements drive commercial success.
  • User Experience (UX) Advocacy: Partner with designers to ensure the mobile interface is intuitive for reps in the aisle, focusing on reducing "time-to-task" and improving the quality of data captured during store visits.
  • Quality & Acceptance: Define the "Definition of Ready" and "Definition of Done" for all user stories, conducting final acceptance testing to ensure every release meets the rigorous standards of our national retail operations.

What you'll need to be successful
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in Product Ownership, with a heavy focus on Mobile Applications and the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Domain Expertise: Deep familiarity with Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud or similar retail execution and territory management platforms.
  • Strategic Execution: Proven ability to build and socialize product roadmaps, justifying prioritization through data and user-centric logic.
  • Technical Partnership: Experience working alongside Technical Product Owners and Architects to navigate complex data integrations (e.g., SAP, Trade Management).
  • Agile Mastery: Expert-level skill in writing user stories, managing backlogs (Jira/), and facilitating high-velocity Scrum ceremonies.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to present roadmaps to business leadership, defending trade-offs and highlighting the business value of technical features.
