Overview

You'll work closely with program leadership, engineering, design, and business stakeholders to define features, prioritize work, and guide product decisions across a complex ecosystem. You will also partner with the sales and program leadership team on new business opportunities to help grow the account.

Key Responsibilities

Product Vision & Strategic Alignment

We're hiring a skilled Senior Product Ownerto support a large, multi-disciplinary program and account that spans several integrated workstreams, platforms, and stakeholder groups. In this role, you'll translate program-level strategy into actionable product direction, ensuring that teams are aligned, unblocked, and focused on delivering high-value outcomes.
  • Partner with program leadership and stakeholders to define and maintain a clear product vision, roadmap, and product requirement documentation (PRDs).
  • Continuously refine strategy based on user insights, business goals, technical input, and evolving program needs.
  • Communicate product direction across teams in a way that fosters alignment and shared understanding.

Backlog Leadership
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog across multiple teams and functional areas.
  • Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria; ensure work is clearly defined and ready for development.
  • Balance strategic initiatives, iteration goals, technical debt, support requests and cross-functional dependencies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, research, and QA teams to guide feature delivery.
  • Serve as the authoritative voice of the user and business within the development process.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies-backlog grooming, sprint planning, bug triaging, reviews, and retrospectives-when needed.

Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to gather input, validate assumptions, and align expectations.
  • Communicate decisions, trade-offs, and progress clearly and constructively.
  • Build trust by being transparent, consistent, solutions-oriented and outcome-focused.

Delivery Ownership
  • Ensure delivered features meet user needs, business objectives, and program standards.
  • Review and validate completed work to confirm it meets acceptance criteria and intended experience.
  • Track performance data and user feedback; use insights to drive iteration and continuous improvement.

Risk, Dependencies & Scaling
  • Identify inter-team dependencies early and work with program management to manage them effectively.
  • Surface risks proactively and collaborate on mitigation strategies.
  • Consider the broader system impacts of product decisions across a large, evolving ecosystem.

Account Growth Support
  • Partner with sales and program leadership on the account to determine, support, and enhance our account strategies.
  • Participate in pursuits creating solutions that support client needs and provide innovative approaches to solve their problems that position Fresh to gain new business.
  • Estimate projects for proposals, in collaboration with other team members; review and provide consultation on estimates to ensure accuracy and identification of assumptions.
  • Partner with the team to draft content for SOWs in alignment with project scope.

QualificationsRequired
  • 7+ years as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or equivalent role. A proven track record in client-facing roles or consulting is highly desirable.
  • Experience operating within large, multi-team programs or scaled agile environments.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar frameworks).
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts. Must demonstrate senior-level presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and make informed, timely product decisions.
  • Experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, providing Product Requirement Documentation (PRD) and managing complex backlogs.
  • Ability to work confidently with engineering, UX, QA, and stakeholder groups.

Preferred
  • Experience with enterprise systems, data-heavy environments, or complex system integrations.
  • Familiarity with user research, design thinking, or service design.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform decisions.
  • Exposure to regulated industries or environments with compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to identify and scope new professional service engagements.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Range $125K - $150K.
