Senior Manager, Product Management (PXDP55)
Capital One Business Travel (COBT) is on a mission to redefine corporate travel by converging world-class travel infrastructure with modern financial technology. Since launching in beta in 2024, the platform has experienced rapid growth, and we are looking for a product leader to drive innovation and build the systems needed to win the next frontier across small business and enterprise markets. As the Technical Integration Lead, you will own the product strategy, technical execution, and system architecture that connects COBT with external platforms.
You will lead the backend-heavy product work necessary to achieve and exceed product parity with industry leaders—focusing heavily on real-time data flows, complex policy enforcement, user access management, and automated payment reconciliation. Success in this role requires a blend of deep technical expertise and strategic thought leadership to architect scalable integration patterns that set new industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Strategy & API Architecture: Own the technical roadmap for external platform connectivity. Pioneer scalable, high-availability API strategies, webhooks, and integration patterns that allow COBT to embed seamlessly into external ecosystems.
Data Pipelines & Payment Parity: Lead end-to-end data flows ensuring booking, itinerary, and ledger data sync in real time. Drive product parity across automated payment reconciliation, virtual card issuance, and multi-modal travel bookings.
Policy & Rules Engines: Design and scale backend logic that enforces complex corporate travel rules (e.g., spending limits, preferred vendor routing) and access management protocols across platform boundaries.
Cross-Organizational Thought Leadership: Serve as the primary technical authority bridging business strategy, internal engineering teams, and external partner leaders to translate complex goals into clear, execution-ready technical specifications.
