This role operates on a hybrid schedule requiring two days of in-office collaboration per week in our San Francisco office.
About the Role

We're rebuilding the backbone of how partners and consumers interact with our platform - and we need a PM who thrives at the intersection of technical complexity and business impact. This role is accountable for leading a high-stakes platform transition, ensuring that every partner flow, consumer booking experience, and retailer integration lands on a modern, scalable foundation without disrupting the revenue that runs through it today.
What You'll Work On:
  • Lead discovery, scoping, and delivery of a multi-workstream migration programs spanning partner portals, consumer booking flows, and retailer landing pages
  • Define and evolve the product roadmap in close collaboration with engineering, ensuring 80%+ revenue retention through the transition
  • Drive clarity on open questions across authentication, payments, and additonal key features - making build-vs-defer tradeoffs that protect the timeline without accumulating unsustainable debt
  • Serve as the connective tissue between engineering, commercial, and external partners - translating business needs into actionable product decisions
  • Build durable, production-quality solutions even within a constrained, fast-moving program
Your Areas Of Expertise:
  • Experience: 3-5 years in product management, with proven experience building and launching a product from the ground up (0 to 1) and the outcomes to show for it.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: A proven track record of working across engineering, operations, and business teams to drive alignment and execution.
  • Mindset: A true startup mindset characterized by high ownership, low ego, and a bias toward action in ambiguous environments.
  • Product Skills: Strong user empathy combined with expertise in complex data analysis to derive actionable insights.
  • Business & Systems Thinking: Strong business acumen and systemic thinking; proven ability to make strategic build-vs-defer tradeoffs to build durable solutions within a constrained, fast-moving environment.
  • Education: BA/BS degree (intellectual curiosity is key).

Bonus Points (Nice to Haves)
  • Experience with integration, partner portals, or API-layer work.
  • Experience operating within a two-sided marketplace.
  • Experience running both small and large-scale A/B testing.
Compensation & Benefits:

At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent, and equitable. Total compensation consists of base pay + bonus + benefits + perks. The base pay range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000. This range is representative of base pay only, and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above and will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, geography, and level.
