Job Title: Product Manager, Medical Claims Platform Locations: Remote - Florida Get To Know The Team: The Product Manager, Health supports the development and execution of product initiatives for SS&C Health's medical claims platform. This role works closely with Product Leadership, Engineering, Operations, Client Delivery, and other stakeholders to deliver enhancements that improve platform capabilities, client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The Product Manager will help translate client needs, market trends, regulatory requirements, and business priorities into product requirements and roadmap initiatives. The ideal candidate combines healthcare payer and claims expertise with strong product management skills and a passion for delivering impactful solutions. What You Will Get To Do: Product Planning & Roadmap Execution Support the execution of the product roadmap for the Health Portfolio. Gather, analyze, and prioritize product requirements from clients, internal stakeholders, and market research. Partner with Product Leadership to define product enhancements and future capabilities. Create business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other product documentation. Assist in evaluating opportunities to improve platform functionality, automation, efficiency, and user experience. Contribute to product planning by providing data, analysis, and recommendations. Product Delivery & Execution Collaborate closely with Engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle. Manage and prioritize product backlogs to ensure alignment with business goals and client needs. Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, testing, and release activities. Monitor product performance and adoption metrics to identify areas for improvement. Escalate risks, dependencies, and challenges that may impact delivery timelines or product outcomes. Support successful product launches and post-release assessments. Healthcare Domain Expertise Develop and maintain expertise in healthcare payer operations and digital engagement. Stay informed on regulatory changes and healthcare industry trends that impact product requirements. Help ensure platform capabilities align with client operational needs and compliance expectations. Client & Stakeholder Collaboration Work with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business needs and operational challenges. Gather feedback and translate stakeholder input into actionable product requirements. Support product demonstrations, client meetings, and roadmap discussions as needed. Collaborate with Sales, Client Delivery, Operations, and Implementation teams to ensure successful product adoption. Help communicate roadmap priorities, product updates, and release plans to stakeholders. Cross-Functional Partnership Build strong working relationships across Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Client Success, and Sales teams. Facilitate communication and alignment among stakeholders involved in product initiatives. Contribute to continuous improvement of product management processes and best practices. Support Product Leadership in tracking progress against roadmap objectives and business goals. What You Will Bring: 5+ years of experience in healthcare technology, health plan operations, product management, business analysis, or related fields. Understanding of healthcare claims processing, reimbursement, eligibility, benefits administration, and regulatory requirements. Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into product specifications. Ability to work effectively with Engineering teams in Agile development environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
