Full Job Description
Overview

We're hiring a Senior Product Manager to own the technology platform that connects our operations and account teams with our development organization. This is a bridge role: you'll translate client and internal-stakeholder needs into a coherent, defensible product roadmap, and translate engineering realities and prioritization decisions back to the people who depend on them. Reporting to the VP, Strategic Innovation, you'll act as the single point of clarity between what clients want, what the business needs, and what the development team builds.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the product roadmap end to end, ensuring day-to-day delivery stays aligned to strategic priorities and that scope changes are evaluated against the roadmap rather than absorbed reactively
  • Serve as the primary liaison and filter between operations/account teams and development, converting inbound requests into well-scoped, prioritized work and shielding engineering from unfiltered noise
  • Lead client-facing conversations that set realistic expectations, communicate what's coming and when, and help clients understand the reasoning behind internal prioritization decisions
  • Align internal stakeholders (operations, account management, leadership) on trade-offs, sequencing, and timelines, making the reasoning behind prioritization transparent and defensible
  • Write clear specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and partner with engineering through discovery, build, and post-launch iteration
  • Define and track success metrics (adoption, delivery predictability, client satisfaction) and use them to inform roadmap decisions
  • Facilitate prioritization and backlog rituals, resolving competing demands with a consistent, evidence-based prioritization framework (e.g., RICE or weighted scoring)
  • Anticipate and defuse conflicts between client commitments and engineering capacity before they become escalations

Qualifications

Required
  • 5 - 8 years of product management experience, including ownership of a product roadmap in a B2B SaaS or platform environment
  • Demonstrated success as a cross-functional bridge between commercial/client-facing teams and engineering
  • Strong client-facing communication skills, with a track record of setting expectations and explaining prioritization decisions to external stakeholders
  • Core product fundamentals: discovery, roadmap planning, prioritization frameworks, spec writing, stakeholder alignment, and post-launch iteration
  • Ability to translate fluently between technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and make sound trade-off decisions under constraints
  • Travel as business requires
  • Experience managing direct reports a plus
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred
  • Experience in pharma, healthcare, or life-sciences SaaS, or familiarity with regulated-industry workflows
  • Exposure to platform or internal-tooling products (as opposed to purely customer-facing features)
  • Familiarity with data-rich products and analytics
  • Experience partnering with account/operations teams in an agency or client-services model
