What does the team work on?

The Roku TV Devices Product Management team owns the product experience for every TV that runs Roku OS: Roku-branded TVs sold at retail, and Roku TVs manufactured and branded by leading global TV partners. We work to deliver a great Roku TV experience to every customer, no matter which brand built the hardware they bought.

What is the role?

As Senior Product Manager for 3rd Party Roku TV, you will own product management for Roku TV programs delivered through third-party OEM partners, serving as the critical bridge between engineering and the business development team. You will shape the product experience that customers see and interact with on Roku TVs manufactured by leading global partners, driving Roku OS expansion across international markets. This role spans the full product lifecycle from definition and partner alignment through engineering execution, launch, and post-launch operations, with a strategic focus at the intersection of software and hardware. You will define and drive product roadmaps, collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, business development, and partner products, and translate partner needs into actionable product requirements. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in partnership management and B2B product strategy, with the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder programs in a fast-paced environment. This is a high-impact role with significant visibility, directly contributing to Roku's global account acquisition and business growth through OEM partnerships.

For California Only - The estimated annual base salary for this position is between $270,000 - $300,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

What are the responsibilities of the role?
  • Define and own product roadmaps for 3rd Party Roku TV programs, leading feature prioritization, scope, and timing across hardware and software
  • Author PRDs, feature specifications, and program-level requirements for active Roku TV partner programs
  • Serve as the product interface between engineering teams and the third-party business development organization, translating business needs into clear technical requirements
  • Drive cross-platform feature scaling, defining how features ship across the broader Roku TV partner portfolio
  • Shape the roadmap for partner-facing tooling, from collaboration platforms to manufacturing operations
  • Collaborate with Roku's TV business development and Partner Products teams to support the broader Roku TV ecosystem strategy
  • Coordinate launch readiness across engineering, go-to-market, operations, certification, and communications for each program in the portfolio
  • Track program risks, develop mitigations, and represent program status to Roku leadership on a regular cadence
  • Stay informed on emerging TV technologies including panels, SoCs, audio, picture processing, and on-device AI/ML that will shape the industry's future
  • Advocate for the customer experience in every conversation, ensuring every Roku TV customer receives a great experience regardless of which brand built the hardware
