Job Summary: Nova Biomedical is seeking a
Senior Product Manager, Osmometers/Med Tech to join the Global Clinical Business team. As a pivotal member of this dynamic, fast-growing organization, the Senior Product Manager will act as a • mini-CEO• for the Osmometer portfolio, owning all business aspects of the product line.
This global role will focus primarily on protecting and growing market share while identifying next-generation differentiators that maintain Nova Biomedical's market leadership position. Success in this role requires strategic vision, strong execution, and the ability to proactively identify opportunities, make decisions, and take accountability for results.
Responsibilities: - Champion the voice of the customer throughout every stage of the product lifecycle, ensuring customer feedback drives innovation from new product development and launch through planned product obsolescence.
- Engage directly with customers in hospital core laboratory and point-of-care settings to define market and user requirements.
- Collaborate closely with R&D to translate customer and market insights into clear, actionable product requirements.
- Prioritize features and product enhancements that deliver meaningful customer value and support business objectives.
- Develop and execute pricing strategies aligned with customer needs, competitive conditions, and business goals.
- Develop five-year strategic plans for the Osmometer portfolio.
- Create and manage ROI-driven product roadmaps aligned with global business objectives.
- Partner with Finance to prepare robust business cases supporting product investments and strategic initiatives.
- Develop and implement creative commercial strategies that maximize market penetration and portfolio growth.
- Create compelling product positioning and value propositions that communicate the clinical, operational, and financial value of the Osmometer portfolio.
- Anticipate and address customer questions and objections to support successful product adoption.
- Develop detailed customer profiles and segmentation strategies to guide product development and commercialization.
- Lead market sizing, market share analysis, and comprehensive market research to uncover opportunities and guide strategic decisions.
- Conduct detailed competitive assessments and maintain a strong understanding of competing products, technologies, and market trends.
- Equip the Sales team with actionable competitive insights, differentiated product positioning, and strategies that protect existing market share and capture new opportunities.
- Lead the introduction and commercialization of new products in partnership with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Finance, and other cross-functional teams.
- Drive continuous improvements across the Osmometer portfolio based on customer feedback, market trends, competitive insights, and business performance.
- Manage planned product obsolescence and portfolio transitions throughout the product lifecycle.
- Analyze win/loss data to identify trends and recommend actions that strengthen product positioning and commercial performance.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of the Osmometer portfolio, its applications, competitive positioning, and evolving capabilities.
- Monitor product performance, market adoption, revenue, and profitability to identify risks and opportunities.
- Serve as the primary business owner and internal advocate for the global Osmometer portfolio.
Experience Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Science, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
- Five or more years of product management experience involving systems and medical devices used in hospital core laboratories.
- Proven experience managing the complete product lifecycle, including product development, launch, commercialization, continuous improvement, and planned obsolescence.
- Direct experience working with hospital core laboratories and a strong understanding of their workflows and unique requirements.
- Experience gathering customer insights and translating market and user needs into actionable product requirements.
- Experience developing product strategies, five-year plans, business cases, and ROI-driven product roadmaps.
- Experience partnering with R&D throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Experience developing product positioning, value propositions, customer profiles, pricing strategies, and commercialization plans.
- Experience conducting market sizing, market share analysis, customer research, competitive assessments, and win/loss analysis.
- Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to assess product performance, pricing, investment opportunities, and commercial risks.
- Strong strategic planning, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across functions and organizational levels.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to partner effectively with R&D, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and other global business teams.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to represent customer needs throughout the product lifecycle.
- Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and ability to execute in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize competing business needs and make informed, data-driven decisions.

Work Location: Norwood, Ma - In office (4 days onsite, 1 from home)
Targeted Salary Range: $160,000 - $170,000/yr
