Position Summary:We are looking for a highly driven, intellectually curious Senior Product Manager to lead Trulioo's KYC Fraud & Risk product line. This is a high-visibility individual contributor (IC) role at the centre of one of the digital economy's most critical unsolved problems: consumer identity fraud and risk.
You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for KYC fraud and risk solutions - from strategy and roadmap definition through discovery, build, launch, and iteration. You will work at the intersection of identity verification, machine learning, compliance, and financial services, directly shaping how global enterprises onboard customers, detect synthetic identities, and prevent fraud at scale.
This role sits at a pivotal moment for Trulioo: we are investing aggressively in unified identity, fraud and intelligence - and the KYC Fraud & Risk team is central to that vision.
This will be a full-time, permanent position that can be done remotely for the right person.
What You'll Be Doing:Product Strategy & Roadmap- Own and continuously evolve the multi-quarter product roadmap for KYC fraud and risk solutions, balancing customer urgency, business value, and technical feasibility.
- Define product vision aligned with Trulioo's broader platform strategy, contributing to internal roadmap communications and external partner/customer conversations.
- Conduct rigorous market evaluations and competitive analyses to recommend build, partner, or buy decisions with clear rationale.
- Identify and seize whitespace opportunities in consumer identity fraud, KYC compliance, and risk decisioning - bringing forward new product bets that could materially expand Trulioo's addressable market.
Discovery & Customer Insight- Serve as the primary voice of the customer, regularly conducting discovery interviews with enterprise clients across financial services, fintech, payments, and regulated industries.
- Collect and synthesize qualitative and quantitative feedback to surface unmet needs, validate hypotheses, and inform prioritization decisions.
- Partner with Sales and Business Development to engage prospects early in the sales cycle, representing the product and gathering signals on market demands.
- Monitor product performance metrics, client feedback loops, and support escalations to drive continuous improvement post-launch.
Cross-Functional Execution- Lead cross-functional squads - Engineering, Data Science, Design, Legal, and Compliance - to deliver fraud and risk capabilities within expected timelines using agile methodologies.
- Partner closely with ML and Data Science teams to identify predictive signals, validate model performance, define feedback loops, and deliver explainable risk scores that drive adoption.
- Decompose complex product problems into incremental delivery milestones, managing trade-offs transparently with stakeholders.
- Communicate product vision, roadmap updates, and strategic changes clearly to diverse audiences, including executive leadership and external clients.
What You'll Bring:- 8+ years of product management experience, with a significant portion focused on KYC, identity verification, fraud detection, or risk decisioning in FinTech, RegTech, Payments, or Financial Services.
- Deep domain expertise in KYC fraud - including synthetic identity fraud, document fraud, account takeover, and consumer onboarding risk - with a clear understanding of how these differ from KYB risk and compliance workflows.
- Hands-on experience working with ML and Data Science teams: defining model requirements, interpreting model outputs, managing feedback loops, and translating model insights into product features.
- Proven track record of owning a product roadmap end-to-end, shipping impactful products in agile environments, and influencing without authority across cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to structure ambiguous problems, make defensible recommendations, and break them into deliverable increments.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical or regulatory topics into crisp narratives for diverse audiences.
- Experience working with third-party data providers such as credit bureaus, identity data networks, or risk data vendors.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM, Business, or related field - or equivalent practical experience.
It's a bonus if you have...- Experience with AML/BSA compliance frameworks, adverse media screening, PEPs/sanctions data, or regulatory reporting.
- Familiarity with AI/ML Ops practices, LLMs, or agentic AI systems applied to fraud detection or identity workflows.
- Prior experience integrating fraud APIs, risk orchestration platforms, or decisioning engines (e.g., case management, rules engines).
- Exposure to global identity data ecosystems across multiple regions (North America, Europe, APAC) and their regulatory nuances.
- An active network within the identity verification or fraud prevention industry.
How You Thrive at Trulioo:At Trulioo, we look for people who embody the following ways of working:
- Customer Obsessed - You start with the customer problem and work backwards. You speak directly with clients, not just through proxies.
- High Agency - You drive results in ambiguous circumstances. You identify the right questions, find the right people, and independently move projects forward.
- Data-Informed - You review data methodically, question assumptions, and back recommendations with evidence - while knowing when intuition is the right call.
- Collaborative - You impress and inspire across cross-functional teams; you don't win alone. You make others around you better.
- Bias for Learning - You bring a curious mindset and eagerness to experiment, especially at the frontier of AI-driven identity and fraud detection.
