About the TeamKai, your Airwallex AI assistant, is an AI-powered concierge built directly into the Airwallex platform that helps businesses manage their global financial operations through natural language. By drawing on the complexities of multi-currency transactions, regulatory nuances, and each customer's own Airwallex context, Kai delivers guidance that is instantly actionable and compliant - understanding your business context, answering questions in real time, and taking action on your behalf.
Kai helps customers onboard faster and operate more efficiently every day: it provides tailored setup guidance, opens Global Accounts, enables payment methods, issues and manages corporate cards, initiates and tracks transfers, sets up spend approval workflows, and surfaces real-time insights into spend and cash flow. It orchestrates Airwallex's broader fleet of domain agents while knowing when to bring a human into the loop, today resolving 88% of user conversations without escalating to support. As the first step in embedding AI across the Airwallex product suite, Kai is making global finance simpler, smarter, and increasingly invisible.
Responsibilities- Define and own Airwallex's Kai's product strategy, solution design, roadmap, and delivery plans.
- Partner closely with engineering and design teams to build high-quality, scalable AI features and agent workflows, driving clarity on requirements, trade-offs and timelines.
- Collaborate closely with commercial, marketing, legal and finance teams to navigate regulatory and operational complexity while delivering simple, easy-to-use AI-powered products for our clients.
- Deeply understand user needs, target markets, and the competitive AI landscape; leverage customer and partner feedback, alongside production conversation data and eval results, to inform strategy and prioritization.
- Manage difficult tradeoffs between long-term AI product vision and near-term growth - balancing model quality, accuracy, latency, and cost - and adapt quickly within a highly data-driven, fast-paced environment.
- Lead the extension of Kai into new verticals and agentic use cases, validating opportunities and taking new propositions from concept to launch.
- Monitor product performance, drive continuous operational improvement, and remain ahead of industry trends in AI and finance.
This role can be based in SF or SingaporeWho you are- 5 + years of overall professional experience within Product Management
- Bachelor's degree or higher within STEM
- Proven track record working with advanced technologies, e.g. AI, ML, LLM
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey product strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Close attention to detail, ability to structure complex problems and inform decisions with data and first-principle insights
- Drive, grit, and persistence to take ownership and move ideas to reality in short periods of time
- Ability to thrive in cross-cultural and cross-functional teams
- Experience considering both user requirements and commercial strategy in order to drive meaningful product growth
