Overview

Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Product Manager in our Commercial Strategy and Transformation group. The Sr. Product Manager will partner with key stakeholders across ERMCO to bring new products to market. The candidate must be a self-starter capable of working across ERMCO’s engineering, strategy, manufacturing and sales groups and advocate for customer requests. A successful candidate will be able to identify market opportunities within current and adjacent markets.

 

This role reports to the Director of Commercial Strategy & Transformation and is an individual contributor position at the time of posting.

 

Minimal to moderate travel is expected (1–2 times per month); otherwise, this is a remote position.

 

This role is remote within the following states: AZ, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, MI, NC, NE, SD, TN, TX, WI, and WY. Candidates may reside in or relocate to any of these states. Relocation assistance will be provided.

Responsibilities

 

  • Drive product exploration and definition process, work with sales and engineers to define product requirements, and actively engage with team to ensure successful delivery.
  • Lead recurring product meeting cadence with sales, engineering and manufacturing teams across ERMCO.
  • Collaborate with business leadership to optimize a product portfolio by combining customer, technology, industry, and competitive insights.
  • Build key relationships and credibility within ERMCO and the industry at large.
  • Partner with Sales team proactively track voice-of-customer outputs and convert data into actionable insights.
  • Develop and manage partnerships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Partner with Commercial strategy director to identify opportunities to bring new products to market.
  • Develop GTM strategies and roadmaps for existing and future products, including power electronics-based devices.
  • Tracking product development and the evolution of customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain network of contacts within the commercial and industrial space.
  • Manage products in market and respond to market feedback.
Qualifications

 

  • 3-4 years of product management experience.
  • Exposure to data centers, 3 phase substation power systems and single phase power systems.
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business or Economics preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience bringing electrical power products to market in the utility, commercial and industrial space.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across engineering, sales, and strategy disciplines.
  • Exposure to utility, commercial and industrial power systems and customers.
  • Flexibility with evolving job requirements as this position is new to the organization.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of product management experience.
  • General understanding of power electronics, low-voltage AC and DC power distribution systems under 1,000 V, and electric transformers.
  • Ability to track market dynamics and their implications on product development.
  • Ability to frame and conduct initial analysis (e.g., market sizing).

High degree of competency with MS PowerPoint and Excel.
