Job Summary
Designs, develops and manages the lifecycle of a product or group of products from concept to launch to end of life. Translates market opportunities and customer demand into viable products and services that differentiate Equinix in the market. Sets the vision and strategy for their product ensuring it is competitively positioned and customer-centric. Manages the product roadmap including features, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line. Works cross functionally with user experience, engineering, operations, solution architects, marketing and others to design, build and launch new products and/or product features.
Responsibilities
Product Lifecycle Management
3Executes on the defined strategy and vision for a product7
Product Strategy, Vision and Roadmap
3Gathers, documents, designs and tests the best possible customer experience and incorporates the voice of the customer into the product roadmap7
3Involves engineers, designers and others to create a shared vision and clear goals for the product, including a well-defined product roadmap7
Market, Competitive and Customer Analysis
3Researches competitors and verticals; prepares more complex reports related to financial position, competitive position and market potential7
Business Case Development
3Creates and collaborates on the financial business models, conducts compelling business opportunity reviews with the leadership team7
Product Performance
3Defines metrics that will be used to inform product success and help drive user experience improvements7
Cross Functional Collaboration
3Designs product training curriculum; leads cross-functional trainings and meetings7
New Partner Identification and Engagement
3Identifies and collaborates with partners to enhance the product7
Backlog Prioritization
3Creates backlogs, working regularly with the team to refine and add detail where needed7
3Collaborates closely with technology teams7
Test Case Definition and UAT Coordination
3Leads definition of allowable configurations, test cases and executes UAT7
Stakeholder Management
3Manages stakeholder expectations within and/or across functions7
3Identifies and proactively includes correct stakeholders and communications effectively7
3Understands stakeholder needs and builds effective relationships7
3Utilizes effective methods of communication with stakeholders, varying approach accordingly7
Qualifications
77+ years experience preferred7
7Bachelor's degree preferred7

United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 136,000 - 204,000 USD / Annual
United States - Redwood City Office GHQ : 163,000 - 245,000 USD / Annual
United States - Tampa Office TAO : 136,000 - 204,000 USD / Annual
Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 131,000 - 181,000 CAD / Annual
