The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:
RTX is seeking a business savvy software product manager to define, prioritize and oversee the development of software products, ensuring they meet market needs and business goals. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between the market, customers, and the development team, guiding the product lifecycle from conception to launch and beyond.
What You Will Do- Product Strategy and Roadmap: Defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals.
- Prioritize development work: Maintain and be responsible for the clear product requirements, delivery with the Engineering team and metrics for success are built and maintained.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conducting market research, competitor analysis, and gathering customer feedback to understand market needs and identify opportunities.
- Product Definition and Prioritization: Translating market requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and prioritizing features based on business value and customer impact.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure seamless product development and launch.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Managing the entire product lifecycle, from conception to end-of-life, including planning, development, testing, launch, and ongoing maintenance.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Tracking product performance using key metrics and making data-driven decisions to optimize the product.
- Travel Required: Up to 20%
Qualifications You Must Have- Typically requires a University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field. or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field and minimum 7 years experience
- 10+ years of experience related to product management and/or software development.
Qualifications We Prefer- Technical Proficiency: Understanding software development processes, technologies, and architectures.
- Business Acumen: Understanding market trends, business models, and financial implications.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. (Influencer)

- Analytical Skills: Ability to gather and analyze data to identify trends, measure performance, and drive product improvements. In essence, a software product manager is a strategic leader who owns the product and is responsible for its success in the market.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
