You'll define strategy across this disparate set of products while stewarding expansion into high-impact areas: public API, MCP integrations, and agentic infrastructure.

This is not a role that executes a plan; it co-authors one. You'll serve developers and their teams-from individual contributors to engineering leaders-ensuring they can build, test, collaborate, and deploy with speed and confidence.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Synthesize a diverse product portfolio into a cohesive strategy that multiplies developer productivity.
  • Define the roadmap for emerging areas-public APIs, MCPs, agentic systems-where you'll shape what's possible.
  • Understand developer workflows deeply: local development, collaboration, testing, CI/CD integration, and deployment.
  • Gather research and competitive intelligence to identify high-leverage opportunities across the platform.
  • Define success metrics that connect developer velocity and satisfaction to business outcomes.
  • Communicate strategy and progress with clarity to engineering, product, and executive leadership.
What You Bring to the Table
  • 8+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years managing developer-facing products or platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a broad, complex product portfolio and unify disparate pieces into strategy.
  • Deep understanding of developer workflows: Git, CI/CD, testing, collaboration, deployment, and infrastructure.
  • Experience shipping integrations or platform APIs; familiarity with emerging technologies (AI agents, MCPs, agentic systems).
  • Track record taking products from strategy through launch and iterative improvement.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and navigate organizational complexity.
  • Preferred: Experience at a developer platform (GitHub, GitLab, Vercel, Netlify, LaunchDarkly, etc.); hands-on knowledge of WordPress, Drupal, or modern frameworks.
What We Offer

We have all the usual perks and benefits but what we can really offer you is a fantastic work environment powered by an amazing team.
  • Industry competitive compensation and equity plan
  • Flexible time off, sick days, and 13 paid holidays
  • Comprehensive medical insurance including Health, Dental and Vision
  • Paid parental leave (plus fertility, adoption and other family planning benefits)
  • In-office workspace (San Francisco & Chicago)
  • Monthly allowance for wellness, reading and access to LinkedIn Learning for continued development
  • Events and activities both team-based and company wide that inspire, educate and cultivate
