Full Job Description
As a Product Manager, you9ll own one of our highest-leverage surfaces: how we reach consumers, how we talk with them and how we earn the trust that turns a missed payment into a fresh start. The work decides whether someone in their hardest financial moment gets a robocall or a way out.

The Role:

We9re hiring product managers for two teams. We9ll figure out the right fit with you. You9ll report directly to the Founder and CEO, Jake. We see these roles as some of the most important we9ll fill as we scale from a single product into a multi-product company. We9re widening the aperture. Collections gave us one planet. The rest of the solar system comes next.

One team owns the LLM infrastructure behind every consumer conversation: chatbot, voice, email and text. You9ll push it toward a borrower experience that adapts to each person in real time, further than the industry thinks possible. The other owns the systems that send millions of communications an hour, email, SMS and letters, plus the experimentation engine behind them. You9ll build toward outbound that tunes itself, learning what to say and when without a human in the loop.

Both roles carry tremendous ownership to set a new standard: an opinionated strategy, the experiments that prove what works, and the systems that let the team make good calls without you in the room.

You thrive in high-stakes systems, where legal, ethical and financial constraints sharpen your creativity instead of capping it.

We9ve built the strongest team in the company9s history. We love how fast new people make an impact. One hire doubled the effectiveness of a key machine learning model in their first week.

What We Need:
  • You treat prescription before diagnosis as a sin. You never stop at symptoms. You decompose to root causes fast.
  • You decide with incomplete information. You find the few things that matter most and go get them quickly.
  • You bring principles for what to do now and what to do later. You don9t try to do everything at once.
  • You hold an absurdly high bar. You know a couple of points is the difference between an average product and an exceptional one.
  • You care more about making the best decision than about being right. You update fast when the evidence changes.
  • You reason from data and design experiments that isolate cause. You go deep enough with engineers to argue about the system, not just the roadmap.
  • You already push LLM tooling deep into your own work and want to go further than anyone has let you. You9ll build the skills and workflows the rest of the company runs on.
  • You9ve owned a product strategy end to end and it moved something real.
  • You love building 0 to 1.
  • 5+ years as a Product Manager.
How We Work:
  • Decentralization beats control. The best calls get made by the people closest to them, not routed up a chain. You9ll set the standards that let the team decide without you in the room.
  • Speed beats perfection. You run tight loops, act at 70% on reversible calls and adjust as you learn. Fast loops beat slow ones.
  • Candor beats comfort. You9d rather hear a hard truth early than a polite sidestep that wastes everyone9s time.
  • Writing beats the average meeting. Clarity scales.
  • AI runs through everything here. We built our own code reviewer that beats the alternatives. Our voice AI handles most inbound calls with zero hallucinated payments. Engineers ship 3-4x the PRs they used to. You9ll push it further into the work than almost any company you9ve worked at.
  • We operate at every altitude. No one here lives only on Mount Olympus, not even the leaders. We get into the trenches to learn the ground truth, then refine our information flows so ground truth climbs as fast as direction comes down.
  • We build in person, at least three days a week in our office in Nolita, with a growing group coming in every day. Random run-ins cross-pollinate ideas. Face time builds trust no thread can. Building alongside people makes work far more fun.

We are currently hiring for this position in our New York office.

As a New York City-based company, we are dedicated to transparent, fair, and equitable compensation practices that reflect our commitment to fostering an environment where all team members are valued and supported. We encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply.
