About the Role

Fivetran is building the next generation of data platforms designed to power all the future analytics, automation, and AI use cases that our thousands of customers need to power their business.

As a Product Manager on the Census team at Fivetran, you'll be working closely with the Census founders, as well as the design and engineering teams to dramatically expand the ambition and scope of Fivetran, and redefine how modern businesses operate with data.

You'll be working directly with both the Census and Fivetran teams to incorporate Census's reverse ETL product capabilities into Fivetran's industry leading data platform.You'll be in the unicorn of product roles, working with a small team with huge ambition and ownership, with the customer recognition, market adoption, compensation and benefits of an established leader.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Oakland, CA or Denver, CO office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.

What You'll Do

As a product manager focusing on reverse ETL and integrations, you will have a direct & significant impact on our combined product's future. Some of your responsibilities include:
  • Take ambiguous and technical customer feedback and help the team distill into product direction.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of designers, engineers, product marketing and more to ensure a successful product experience gets delivered to users, and improved on over time.
  • Communicate product direction internally to sales, marketing, as well as externally to customers in sales conversations and in our community.
  • Work closely with founders and leadership to set the product strategy for Census and Fivetran, as well as the wider data ecosystem.

Skills We're Looking For

We are looking for talented people who enjoy the ambiguity of startups, wearing many hats and taking this opportunity to develop their skills. It would be great if you:
  • Proven history of delivering highly successful and innovative software products related to data and/or data infrastructure, and a demonstrated understanding of data/operations personas.
  • Experience with managing a multifaceted product roadmap, collaborating directly with Engineering and Design teams to prioritize and execute on bold product vision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication to influence and drive strategy internally.
  • Passion for working with technical customers to understand their pain, improve our product, and share our vision.

Denver Pay Range

$188,496-$235,620 USD
