Responsibilities
The Search Ads team sits within the Global Monetization Product Technology (GMPT) organization servicing TikTok For Business. We're looking for an experienced Product Manager to solve brand new problems and find innovative product solutions for TikTok Search Monetization. TikTok search is growing rapidly and becoming more and more attractive to users by providing interesting, useful and relevant video search results. These solutions aim to improve the search traffic monetization efficiency. Responsibilities: - Lead product strategy for search ads under content and service verticals (e.g travel, entertainment, local services) and drive product upgrades to build differentiated competitive advantages - Optimize search traffic strategy in search ads, focusing on search intent understanding, relevance, user journey, and related areas to improve user experience and advertiser ROI - Lead innovative AI exploration in search ad scenarios and drive 0 to 1 product delivery, such as agentic transactions, while designing ad formats tailored to vertical industries - Work cross-functionally with engineering, data, sales, and other teams to scale products from R&D to commercial deployment - Use a data-driven approach to define core metrics, build A/B testing systems, continuously iterate the product, and partner with commercial teams to drive scaled customer adoption.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or related fields; candidates from other majors with equivalent practical capabilities are also welcome - 3 years of search advertising experience, with deep expertise across the full ad serving chain and ecosystem, including recall, ranking, bidding, creative, and ad formats. Experience in travel, entertainment, local service ads strategy is preferred. - Hands-on experience applying AI in search advertising scenarios, including but not limited to query understanding, ad relevance modeling, and generative ad creative, with strong understanding of AI productization paths - Strong data-driven mindset, excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, international communication ability, and strong written documentation skills. - Fluency in both English and Mandarin required: the role involves frequent communication with global teams, clients and stakeholders in English - speaking regions as well as Chinese- speaking markets. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to effectively engage with Chinese- speaking partners, understand cultural nuances, and navigate business transactions in key markets, ensuring smooth cross- cultural collaboration and market expansion.

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $185600 - $311600 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
