Job Summary

Allvue Systems is seeking a driven, execution-focused Senior Product Manager to lead our Credit Product team. This is a high-velocity leadership role designed for a seasoned product professional who thrives in fast-paced agile environments and delivers with speed and precision. Reporting to the Head of Product, this individual will manage multiple Product Manager teams, set and drive PI planning across the credit product portfolio, and advance the product vision within Allvue's flagship credit platform - all while owning critical internal and external relationships across clients, engineering, and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in fixed income markets and investment workflows, with private markets exposure as a strong differentiator, along with proven experience leading and developing other product managers. This person must be comfortable operating in a sprint-driven culture where roadmap commitments are met with urgency, and where proactive customer outreach, structured PI planning, and cross-functional collaboration are essential to success.

Responsibilities

Multi-Team Leadership & Agile Execution:
  • Lead and manage multiple Product Manager teams alongside their supporting engineering pods, setting clear priorities, coaching PM performance, and fostering a high-accountability, fast-moving agile culture.
  • Own end-to-end backlog strategy across all credit product teams - defining, prioritizing, and sequencing epics, features, and user stories with a bias toward speed and measurable business impact, and ensuring consistency in prioritization standards across teams.
  • Own and facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning across all Credit product teams - setting the PI calendar, aligning team-level objectives to the broader product strategy, surfacing cross-team dependencies, and driving consensus on commitments with engineering leadership.
  • Coach individual Product Managers on sprint planning, release sequencing, and backlog hygiene, and arbitrate cross-team prioritization conflicts to maintain delivery momentum and minimize blockers.
  • Manage execution trade-offs decisively across the credit product portfolio, balancing quality, scope, and timeline across multiple teams with a focus on throughput and consistent delivery standards.
  • Ensure release readiness across all owned teams through proactive coordination with engineering, QA, infrastructure, and design teams, and through direct performance management and development of the Product Managers leading each team.

Client Relationship Management & Customer Outreach:
  • Serve as the senior product point of contact and executive escalation path for a portfolio of credit clients, actively managing and deepening those relationships across the teams reporting to you.
  • Participate in client calls and on-site visits to gather requirements, validate functionality, and demonstrate new product capabilities.
  • Drive a structured, proactive customer outreach program across the credit client base - including regular check-ins, roadmap briefings, and feedback-gathering sessions - to surface needs before they become escalations and to strengthen Allvue's reputation as a trusted partner.
  • Translate client feedback and pain points into actionable product improvements, ensuring client needs are accurately represented in the roadmap.
  • Proactively communicate product updates, upcoming releases, and roadmap direction to clients in a clear and timely manner.

People Management & Team Development:
  • Directly manage multiple Product Manager teams within the Credit product line, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, career development, and goal-setting for each direct report.
  • Establish consistent product management practices, ceremonies, and quality standards across teams, ensuring each team operates with a shared playbook while retaining autonomy over its own domain.
  • Mentor Product Managers on stakeholder management, technical decomposition, and client communication, building bench strength and succession depth across the organization.
  • Allocate headcount and workload across teams based on roadmap priorities, escalation volume, and client portfolio complexity.

Internal Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment:
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Infrastructure, Customer Experience, and Sales leadership to align on delivery timelines and manage dependencies across multiple product teams.
  • Serve as the functional authority for the credit domain in planning forums, executive reviews, and cross-team working sessions.
  • Collaborate closely with adjacent product teams to align on shared platform components, integration points, and delivery sequencing.
  • Present, demo, and document product functionality for both internal stakeholders and external client audiences.

Domain Expertise & Technical Problem Solving:
  • Apply deep understanding of fixed income investment workflows to inform product decisions, with the ability to contextualize private credit and CLO nuances where applicable.
  • Decompose complex, ambiguous business and client requirements into structured, technically feasible, and scalable product solutions.
  • Anticipate downstream system and client impacts when making sequencing and design decisions, maintaining platform integrity.
  • Resolve workflow and integration challenges in close collaboration with engineering, leveraging platform architecture knowledge.

Impact Measurement & Continuous Improvement:
  • Define success metrics for delivered features and monitor post-release performance to ensure alignment with roadmap objectives.
  • Drive iterative improvements based on data, client adoption signals, and qualitative feedback to continuously raise product quality and relevance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of product management experience within financial technology or investment management software, including at least 2 years managing or leading other Product Managers.
  • Demonstrated expertise in fixed income markets, instruments, and investment lifecycle workflows (origination, analysis, trading, settlement, and monitoring).
  • Proven track record of delivering product in a high-velocity, agile environment - sprint-driven, cross-functional, and execution-oriented.
  • Strong client-facing skills with experience managing ongoing client relationships, conducting discovery sessions, and influencing product direction based on client input.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and manage multiple Product Managers and their respective teams, with high execution autonomy across a multi-team product domain.
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership and stakeholder communication capability across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Hands-on experience leading PI planning across multiple teams, and a track record of running structured, proactive customer outreach programs rather than purely reactive client support.

Preferred:
  • Experience with private credit, CLO structures, or broader private markets investment workflows.
  • Familiarity with alternative investment platform technology and the operational needs of asset managers, CLO managers, or credit funds.
  • Experience working directly with engineering teams in a scaled agile or SAFe environment.

Technical Skills:
  • Backlog & Agile Planning Tools - Advanced (Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent)
  • SQL - Intermediate to Advanced
  • .NET Application Familiarity - Intermediate (comfort working alongside .NET engineering teams)

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • MBA or CFA a plus.

What We Offer

  • Health Coverage options along with other voluntary benefits
  • Enterprise Udemy membership with access to thousands of personal and professional development courses
  • 401K with Company match up to 4% or Employee Pension plan
  • Competitive pay and year-end bonus potential
  • Flexible PTO
  • Charitable Donation matching, along with Volunteer and Voting PTO
  • Numerous team building activities to promote collaboration in a fun and fast-paced work environment
