Primary Job Duties:- Drive development, strategy, and success of Dometic's product portfolio.
- Execute the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and concept development to launch and ongoing enhancement.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to identify market trends and opportunities.
- Align cross-functional teams (product development, supply chain, manufacturing, sales, marketing and finance) through the product development lifecycle, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery of high-quality products.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to translate market needs into innovative and feasible product solutions.
- Manage a diverse product portfolio, making data-driven decisions to optimize product performance and profitability.
- Define and communicate product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer expectations.
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans, including pricing strategies, positioning, and marketing collateral.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive product awareness, demand generation, and customer adoption.
- Work with sales and marketing teams to develop sales tools, including sell sheets, website content, and brochures to maximize brand exposure and equity.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, engineering, and executive leadership, to ensure alignment and support for product initiatives.
- Serve as product specialist who develops and performs training on products.
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Implement strategies to address challenges and capitalize on market dynamics.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Must have a Bachelor's degree or higher (or foreign educational equivalent) in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
Experience: In addition to degree, must have at least 5 years of experience in all of the following:
- Experience as a Product Lead in a consumer goods-oriented industry, including "go to market" projects involving products that are manufactured OUS then shipped and sold in the U.S.;
- Managing complex product portfolios and driving product innovation;
- Experience in mobile living markets (RVs, marine, commercial passenger truck) focused on the manufacturing and distribution of aftermarket products and sales channels. Experience must include RV, boat, and truck sales channels within absorption and compressor refrigeration category;
- Experience making analytical and strategic data-driven decisions; and
- Experience with aligning regional business unit product strategy to a global product strategy structure.
